WHAT IT DOES

• The AWE SwitchPath Remote and associated control box take precedence over the regular valve settings, providing the ability to open and close the exhaust valves manually on the AWE SwitchPath Exhaust or the factory pipe with a single action of the Remote.

HOW TO OPERATE

• The AWE SwitchPath Controller includes an “On” button on the left side of the corresponding remote, allowing users to open the exhaust valves. To turn them off, press the “Off” button which is located on the right side of the remote.
• Please take into account that the AWE SwitchPath Remote overrides the factory valve management, thus the exhaust needs to be opened and shut through the remote as per your needs.

Exhaust Tips

• The SwitchPath and Track Edition of AWE features double-wall, 102mm slash-cut exhaust tips pre-installed in either chrome silver or diamond black tint that flaunt the stamped AWE logo.

Conversion Kits

• Through AWE, converting SwitchPath to Track Edition or vice versa is a breeze if you ever want to modify your purchase after the fact.

Valve Simulators: Why do you need them?

• AWE’s SwitchPath™ Technology ensures sound perfection out-of-the-box, utilizing the Golf R’s factory valving. However, for the Track Editions of these systems, these valves are removed and the ECU stores what is referred to as a ‘soft code’. AWE Electronic Valve Simulators come in handy here – they eliminate the need to keep this ‘soft code’.
• Connect these tools directly to the factory wiring circuit instead of the exhaust valves, obviating the need to store any ECU signals caused by the exhaust valves being removed. Installation is simple: just plug them in, turn your engine on, and off you go.
• Sold separately, comes as a set of two.

Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US.
