It uses a straight-through architecture when the valves are open, reducing backpressure and letting the S58’s inline-six deliver a sharper, more pronounced exhaust note, while the closed-valve mode keeps things controlled for daily driving. The system is constructed from T304L stainless steel with consistent weld quality and precise routing that follows the factory layout for proper fitment and clearance. The diamond black tips provide a darker, understated finish that complements the rear of the car without drawing unnecessary attention. Exhaust Tips

• Each exhaust system comes with three 4.5” double-walled, slash-cut tips in either chrome silver or diamond black, each stamped with the AWE logo. The tips are independently adjustable, letting you fine-tune their projection into the bumper to match your personal preference.

Nope, It’s Not Valved

• During development, AWE thoroughly analyzed the factory exhaust valve across different driving conditions and found that volume remains largely consistent between modes that use the valve. The valve stays closed only in Comfort mode, opening once a throttle threshold is reached, while in Sport and Sport+ modes it remains open, with Sport+ adding ECU-controlled burbles. In the stock setup, exhaust flow is directed through the side mufflers when the valve is closed to minimize interior volume and reduce drone, and through the center when the valve is open.
