AWE C8 Corvette track exhaust is a bespoke, valveless, asymmetric system handcrafted from 3″ CNC mandrel-bent, U.S.-made .065″ wall T304L stainless steel for the mid-engine Stingray and E-Ray. Straight pipe sections replace the resonators for an unfiltered, aggressive tone, and the straight-through design helps push max gains to 19hp and 15ft-lb of torque at the wheels. Robust 8″ flex sections keep engine movement isolated and add long-term durability, while the overall package comes in 39lbs lighter than stock. The system finishes with quad 4.5″ double-walled slash-cut tips in chrome silver and bolts on directly with no cutting required.

The AWE Track Edition shares the same bespoke valveless design and precision engineering as the Touring Edition, but strips out the 180 Technology resonators in favor of straight pipe sections, saving 39lbs over stock. That trade-off comes with a personality shift; the Track Edition gets loud during mid-range acceleration and deceleration, and V4 mode becomes noticeably more present in the cabin. What is the difference between the AWE C8 Corvette track exhaust and the Touring Edition? Both share the same bespoke valveless, asymmetric design and the same 3″ T304L stainless steel construction. The Touring Edition uses AWE’s 180 Technology resonators to keep the cabin composed at cruise while still opening up under throttle. The Track Edition replaces those resonators with straight pipe sections for a louder, unfiltered tone, particularly through mid-range acceleration and deceleration, and picks up the full 39 lb weight savings. Both include AFM and NPP valve simulators. The Track Edition is the pick for drivers who want the LT2 raw at all times; the Touring Edition is the more livable daily option.
Does the AWE C8 Corvette track exhaust work with the AFM and NPP systems on the Stingray and E-Ray? Yes. The system includes both AFM valve simulators and NPP valve simulators in the box. The C8 uses Active Fuel Management, which shuts down cylinders under light load, and the optional NPP performance exhaust uses electronically controlled valves. AWE’s simulators mount the factory valve actuators and keep the ECU from storing fault codes when the valved factory sections are replaced, backing the No CEL guarantee. A bespoke aluminum heat shield is also included to protect surrounding components in the tight mid-engine bay.
How much louder is the AWE C8 Corvette track exhaust, and does V4 mode change with it installed? The Track Edition is significantly louder than stock, especially during mid-range acceleration and deceleration where the straight-pipe sections let the LT2 come through unfiltered. AWE notes specifically that V4 mode, the AFM cylinder-deactivation state, becomes noticeably more present in the cabin with the Track Edition; the change in exhaust pulse is more audible when the engine drops to four cylinders. Drivers who want a quieter cabin in light-load cruising typically choose the Touring Edition, which keeps the 180 Technology resonators in place.
Does the AWE C8 Corvette track exhaust fit both the Stingray and the E-Ray, and does the E-Ray hybrid system matter? Yes to both. The system is a confirmed fit for the C8 Stingray from 2020 through 2026 and the C8 E-Ray from 2024 through 2026. The E-Ray pairs the 6.2L LT2 V8 with a front-axle electric motor for all-wheel drive; the AWE exhaust addresses the V8 exhaust side and is engineered specifically to fit the E-Ray’s packaging. Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates.
