These splitters are produced using AutoTecknic’s advanced autoclave technology with pre-preg 3K twill weave carbon fiber, and they are finished with a UV-protected high gloss clear-coat. This results in some of the most lightweight, durable, and precisely fitting splitters available on the market. The term “dry carbon fiber” originates from its production process, where a “pre-preg” or impregnated piece of carbon material is first placed into a mold and then cured in a sealed vacuum (autoclave). This method minimizes waste and produces a lighter form of carbon compared to the “wet” method. Additionally, the autoclave vacuuming process ensures minimal pinholes and virtually no air pockets, making dry carbon the highest-quality version of carbon fiber products available.
