The all-new AutoTecknic carbon rear trunk spoiler for the F93 M8 Gran Coupe and the G16 8-Series Gran Coupe enhances the vehicle’s aesthetics with its lightweight carbon fiber material and superior strength. This spoiler is manufactured using AutoTecknic’s signature autoclave forming process, ensuring not only enhanced rigidity but also giving the M8 and 8-Series Gran Coupe a more aggressive appearance. The spoiler is crafted from dry carbon fiber, which is distinguished by its manufacturing process. “Pre-preg” or impregnated carbon materials are placed into a mold and then sealed in an autoclave to cure. This method significantly reduces waste and produces a lighter carbon product compared to the traditional “wet” method. The autoclave vacuuming process reduces pinholes and virtually eliminates air pockets, making dry carbon the highest-quality form of carbon fiber products available. Finished in a glossy carbon fiber, each spoiler is 100% carbon fiber and undergoes rigorous testing and quality control before being released to ensure the highest standards of quality. Installation is straightforward, requiring only double-sided tape on the bottom surface, with no drilling needed. The entire installation process can be completed in no more than 20 minutes, providing an instant upgrade in both style and performance.
