The all-new AutoTecknic carbon rear trunk spoiler for the G15 8-Series Coupe is crafted from lightweight carbon fiber material, utilizing AutoTecknic’s signature autoclave forming process to enhance its strength and rigidity. This brand new design will lend a more aggressive look to the 8-Series Coupe, an aesthetic enhancement eagerly sought by many enthusiasts. The spoiler is made using dry carbon fiber, a material known for its manufacturing process. Carbon materials, pre-impregnated with resin, are placed into a mold and then sealed in an autoclave to cure, ensuring minimal waste and a lighter product compared to traditional “wet” carbon fiber. This autoclave vacuuming process significantly reduces pinholes and virtually eliminates air pockets, making dry carbon the highest-quality form of carbon fiber available. This spoiler, finished in a glossy carbon fiber, is composed of 100% carbon fiber. Each new product undergoes rigorous testing and quality control before it is released to ensure it meets the highest standards. Installation is straightforward, requiring only double-sided tape on the bottom surface of the spoiler, with no drilling necessary. The entire installation process can be completed in no more than 20 minutes, offering a quick and significant enhancement to the vehicle’s rear aesthetics.
