Aragosta’s Type-E series of dampers is purposefully designed to cater to both spirited street driving and comfortable cruising experiences. Drawing inspiration from their high-performance Type-S and Type-SS coilovers, the Type-E incorporates several advanced features, such as low-friction, WPC-treated inverted struts, height-adjustable Rana springs, specially formulated synthetic damper fluid, and Aragosta’s unique low friction seals.

Moreover, the Type-E dampers are equipped with 12-step rebound adjustment knobs (though not available for some vehicles) located at the bottom of each damper, providing enhanced tuning options. Additionally, they come with pillow ball upper mounts, with the option of camber adjustable mounts for select applications.

• The Aragosta Type S Coilover Suspension system features an ultra-lightweight, high-pressure forged aluminum cylinder enhanced with state-of-the-art film treatment and Kashima coating. The specialized impregnation of molybdenum ensures remarkable lubricity within the cylinder itself. This results in substantial friction reduction and unparalleled durability, surpassing conventional hard alumite coatings. As a result, the coilovers deliver exceptional basic performance, offering high-level linearity, smoothness, and traction ability.

High-Precision Machining with the Highest Priority on Performance

• Aragosta places great emphasis on the precision of cylinder processing, achieving surface roughness levels of 0.2 microns and 2/10000 mm for both aluminum and steel cylinders. Additionally, they employ advanced honing treatment to enhance the surface accuracy and roundness inside the cylinder, ensuring it adheres precisely to the specified values. It is exceedingly rare for a damper manufacturer to carry out processing with such precision on all of their cylinders.

• The steel cylinder and outer case undergo a top-notch cationic electrodeposition coating, which is widely regarded as the finest choice for rust prevention, impact resistance, and durability.
