Description

Aragosta 14-24K/14-24K Type SS 2 Way Suspension Kit with Pillowball Upper Mounts for R35 Nissan GT-R

The Aragosta Type SS coilover stands as the flagship of Aragosta’s esteemed coilover range. Designed specifically for track-focused applications, these coilovers offer an extensive array of custom spring rate options to meet the demands of performance-oriented drivers. The Type SS boasts cutting-edge features, including 2-way remote reservoirs that effectively mitigate damper oil heat soak. Moreover, each coilover features individually adjustable compression and rebound settings, providing precise tuning for the ultimate track experience.

The Epitome of Smooth Performance

Central to the Aragosta Type SS Coilover Suspension’s performance is an ultra-lightweight, high-pressure forged aluminum cylinder treated with next-generation film treatment and Kashima coating. The unique impregnation of molybdenum ensures extraordinary lubricity within the cylinder, exceeding the friction reduction and durability achieved by conventional hard alumite coatings. As a result, the Type SS achieves outstanding linearity, smoothness, and remarkable traction ability at the highest level.

Precision Machining with Performance Excellence

Aragosta’s commitment to performance is evident in their meticulous attention to the processing accuracy of the cylinder. The surface roughness reaches an impressive 0.2 microns and 2/10000 mm for both aluminum and steel cylinders. Additionally, advanced honing treatment enhances surface accuracy and roundness inside the cylinder, a feat seldom seen among damper manufacturers.

Leading-Edge Finishing Technology

The steel cylinder and outer case of the Type SS are coated with cationic electrodeposition coating, renowned for its unparalleled rust prevention, impact resistance, and durability. This coating uniformly electrodeposits to every corner of the thread, ensuring maximum coverage and an extended lifespan.

Equipped with High-Performance Spring as Standard

Standard to all Aragosta Type SS Coilover Suspension systems are rana springs, embodying the ideal characteristics of a series-wound spring. Not only do these springs boast superior quality and durability, but their linear characteristics also contribute to maximizing damper performance.

Fine-Tuned Internal Structure

Aragosta’s exceptional performance is further supported by damper pistons and needles that expertly control fine damping characteristics, even at extremely low speeds. This wide range of damping control, spanning from comfort to sporty driving, dramatically enhances traction performance. The external damping force adjustment mechanism provides a clear characteristic change with its 20-step adjustment range, featuring a smooth and direct click feel to cater to any setting preference.

High Hardness, High Efficiency WPC Processing

The Type SS features an inverted cartridge cylinder with precision shot peening (WPC processing), the finest technology for modifying metal surfaces. This advancement reduces the wear coefficient and significantly improves oil film retention in cylinders with high sway resistance. Aragosta’s commitment to prioritizing performance, even in parts that may not be visible, is exemplified by this cutting-edge technology.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. Please review the full Terms & Conditions here.

BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
