• This ultra–lightweight cylinder is constructed of high–pressure forged aluminum and features a cutting–edge film treatment and Kashima coating. Through the special impregnation of molybdenum, it has superior lubricity unlike conventional hard alumite, providing excellent linearity, smoothness and traction ability.

High-Precision Machining with the Highest Priority on Performance

• Aragosta is renowned for their precision when machining cylinders from both aluminum and steel, with the capability to achieve a surface roughness of 0.2 microns and 2/10000 mm. Moreover, an advanced honing technique is employed to increase the accuracy and roundness of the cylinder to the desired values. This degree of precision in cylinder machining is quite rare among damper manufacturers.

Superior Finishing Technology

• The steel cylinder / outer case has been treated with a cationic electrodeposition coating, which is known to provide the most effective protection against rust, impact damage, and wear. This coating also ensures that every corner of the thread is completely covered, so that the item can last longer.

Equipped with High-Performance Spring as Standard

• Every Aragosta comes with the rana spring as a basic feature, representing the peak of a series–wound spring. This spring is not only top quality and long–lasting, but also has linear characteristics to maximize the effectiveness of the damper.

Sharpened Internal Structure

• The remarkable performance of Aragosta is enabled by damper pistons and needles which can regulate fine damping characteristics even at the lowest speeds.
