APR Performance Widebody Aerodynamic Kit for W30 Toyota MR2 Spyder

The MR-2 Spyder, weighing just a little over 2,000 lbs, is currently one of the lightest roadsters obtainable in the market. However, when upgrading the power in this compact roadster, the stock body and wheels may struggle to handle the increased power effectively. To address this issue and enhance traction, APR has developed the MR-2 Spyder S-GT Wide Body Kit, including other components to improve aerodynamic performance.

Due to the mid-engine rear wheel drive configuration, cars like the MR-2 Spyder are prone to sudden oversteer due to the center of gravity being near the middle of the vehicle. As a solution, the S-GT body kit comes with a front splitter and canards to augment front wheel traction. Additionally, enlarged side intake ducts have been incorporated into the S-GT body kit to increase the airflow into the engine bay. The inclusion of a GTC-300 Adjustable Carbon Fiber Wing further maximizes the rear wheel traction potential of the MR-2. Lastly, this wide-body kit for the MR-2 Spyder maintains a sleek street appearance while providing all the necessary components required for a race car.
