Is this GT-250 wing for universal fit really universal?

Yes. This GT-250 wing for universal fit is a universal part rather than a model-specific one, so it is not listed for any single vehicle. The page states that the mounting distance needs to be provided by the customer, so check the mounting points on your vehicle before ordering.

What mounting distance do I need to give?

The page says only that the customer provides the mounting distance. It does not give a range or describe the mounting method, so contact us with your vehicle and the spacing you need before ordering.

Does it come with Gurney flaps?

Yes. The page states that every GT-250 wing comes equipped with pre-installed Gurney flaps, made with pre-impregnated carbon fiber techniques and exceptionally lightweight.

The wing is listed as an adjustable wing. The page does not describe the adjustment method or give an angle range, so contact us if you need those details.

What is the wing made from, and how big is it?

Carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) airfoils with pre-impregnated woven carbon fiber sheets, made with high-temperature autoclave and vacuum bagging in aluminum billet molds. The GT-250 has a 67-inch span and a 2D airfoil shape that generates downforce evenly along its whole length.

What is the PPF film option, and how long does delivery take?

PPF film is an optional extra for an additional $200, chosen at checkout. The wing is made to order or special order from the manufacturer, so we confirm the estimated lead time after you order. Talk to us first if you have a specific deadline.

Technical Features

Boasting a meticulously engineered airfoil shape designed to minimize drag and optimize aerodynamics, the GT Series wings deliver exceptional performance. With a 2D design that uniformly generates downforce throughout their entire span, these wings have undergone rigorous Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis to validate and optimize their aerodynamic capabilities, guaranteeing their effectiveness.
Every airfoil in the GT Series undergoes meticulous construction using carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) composites, renowned for their lightweight characteristics and durability. These airfoils are meticulously crafted using pre-impregnated woven carbon fiber sheets, ensuring exceptional strength while minimizing weight. To achieve the desired level of quality, each CFRP airfoil undergoes advanced manufacturing processes, including high-temperature autoclave and vacuum bagging, utilizing top-of-the-line aluminum billet molds.

About APR Performance

APR Performance designs and builds carbon fiber aerodynamic components at its facility in Chino, California. Its wing families are developed with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), and APR publishes the CFD data for its GTC and GT ranges so buyers can compare downforce and drag before choosing a setting. Parts are laid up in pre-preg carbon fiber, cured in an autoclave, finished in a UV-resistant clear coat and covered by a one-year warranty against defects in workmanship and materials.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. Please review the full Terms & Conditions here.

BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
