Does the APR GT-250 Adjustable Wing for E90 fit the E92 coupe?

No. The GT-250 Adjustable Wing for E90 sedans uses carbon bottom plates shaped for the E90 trunk lid. The E92 coupe has a different trunk lid and its own GT-250 kit from APR, so coupe owners should order the E92 version rather than this sedan wing.

Is the Gurney flap included?

Yes. APR fits a half inch (12.7mm) pre-preg carbon Gurney flap to the trailing edge of every GT-250 before it ships, bonded with 3M VHB tape. It adds downforce and reduces flow separation off the back of the wing, so nothing extra needs to be ordered or installed.

What is the difference between the 61in and 67in versions?

Span. The 61in wing measures 1549mm across and the 67in wing 1702mm, with the same 10in chord, profile, pedestals and pre-installed Gurney flap. The wider wing spreads its load across more of the E90 rear deck; the 61in version sits tighter to the body and costs less.

How is the GT-250 different from the larger GTC-500?

The GT-250 uses a 2D airfoil with a constant 10in chord and a 7.6 to 1 downforce-to-drag ratio, sized for compact performance cars. The GTC-500 is a larger 3D airfoil with a variable chord. On an E90 used for track days and autocross, the GT-250 is the proportionate choice.

How long does the wing take to ship?

APR builds each GT-250 to order and quotes a typical lead time of one to two weeks before the wing leaves the factory, plus transit. Contact the Bulletproof Automotive team for a current estimate before planning a track day around it.

Description

APR Performance Carbon GT-250 Adjustable Wing for E90 BMW 3 Series and M3 (67in)

APR Performance’s carbon GT-250 Adjustable Wing for E90 BMW 3 Series and M3 sedans gives the four-door E90 a properly engineered rear wing, built around a 2D airfoil that APR refined in CFD to hold an even level of downforce across its 67in span. Each airfoil is laid up from woven pre-preg carbon and autoclave-cured in aluminum billet molds, and it arrives with a carbon Gurney flap already bonded to the trailing edge. With a 7.6 to 1 downforce-to-drag ratio, it suits an E90 M3 or 335i that sees regular track days, time attack, or autocross; on a car that only commutes it is more statement than tool.

Tuning the Angle

Angle of attack adjusts from 0 to 15 degrees on 10mm 6061 billet aluminum pedestals. Flatter settings trim drag for long straights; steeper settings load the rear tires for braking zones and slow corners.

2D airfoil profile developed in CFD for even downforce across the span
Woven pre-preg carbon, autoclave-cured in aluminum billet molds
3K 2×2 twill weave with a UV-resistant protective coating

About APR Performance

APR Performance has built aerodynamic components for road racing, time attack, and street performance since 1999, working from the same wind tunnel and CFD-driven process across every product line. The company designs and manufactures its own carbon fiber wings, splitters, diffusers, and canards in-house using pre-preg materials and autoclave curing, which is why APR parts carry SCCA and other sanctioning body approvals across multiple race classes. From early Honda and Mitsubishi platforms to current Porsche, BMW, and Corvette applications, every component has to earn its place through measurable aerodynamic gain, not just visual styling.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
