What is the GT-2000 universal wing designed for?

The GT-2000 universal wing is a high-downforce wing built primarily for motorsport and track applications. It is suited to serious track cars and time attack vehicles that need strong downforce without the heavy drag of a much larger wing.

Are mounts and pedestals included?

No. Pedestals and mounts are not included, and the wing is chassis mount only. A chassis mounting system is required but not included, so plan and arrange the mounting before ordering.

The GT-2000 is a universal wing with vehicle-specific mounting rather than a bolt-on for one chassis. Contact us with your vehicle so the mounting distance and fitment solution for your wing build can be confirmed.

How adjustable is it?

The angle of attack adjusts from 14° to 22°. Higher angles increase downforce for cornering and braking, while lower angles reduce drag for better straight-line speed.

What does the dual-foil design do?

The two foils create a larger pressure differential across the upper and lower surfaces than a single foil. That helps keep airflow attached and limits flow separation at high speed, so the wing can maximize downforce.

What is it made from, and what size is this version?

Pre-impregnated woven carbon fiber sheet, autoclave-cured in aluminum billet molds for high density, durability, and resistance to heat and stress-induced deformation. This listing is the 78″ (1981mm) version, with a 10″ (254mm) chord on each of its two foils.

Description

APR Performance 78″ GT-2000 High Downforce Carbon Fiber Wing [AS-478200]

The GT-2000 universal wing represents the pinnacle of APR’s aerodynamic performance. It is designed to optimize the aerodynamic balance of performance vehicles, primarily in motorsport and track applications. Engineered for high-efficiency downforce generation with minimal drag, the GT-2000 is tailored for cars seeking improved cornering, braking stability, and high-speed balance.

Construction

The GT-2000 wing is built from pre-impregnated woven carbon fiber sheet for a high strength-to-weight ratio. It is autoclave-cured in aluminum billet molds, which gives optimal material density, durability, and resistance to heat and stress-induced deformation. Carbon fiber’s natural rigidity prevents flexing at high speeds, so aerodynamic performance stays consistent under heavy loads.

Features

Dual-foil design creates an effective pressure differential, maximizing airflow attachment and minimizing flow separation at high speed
Fully adjustable angle of attack from 14° to 22° for tuning downforce and drag to track conditions
APR quotes an 8 to 1 downforce-to-drag ratio for the wing
Higher angles increase rear tire load for cornering and braking, while lower angles reduce drag for straight-line speed
Designed as a top high-downforce wing, suited to serious track cars and time attack vehicles
Compact dimensions allow integration into a wide range of vehicles

Notes

This is a special order item. Please contact us for ordering, lead times and availability.
Pedestals and mounts are NOT included. The GT-2000 wing is chassis mount only, and the chassis mounting system is required but not included.
Mounting is vehicle-specific; contact us with your vehicle and the mounting distance for the wing build before ordering
Angle of attack is measured from the leading edge of the primary foil to the trailing edge of the secondary foil; with the side plates at 0°, the foils sit at a 14° angle of attack
Professional installation strongly recommended; a chassis-mounted wing at this downforce level must be engineered and fitted correctly
This product ships for free within the continental United States

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. Please review the full Terms & Conditions here.

BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
