Is this carbon fiber wing for touring cars a universal fit?

Yes. This carbon fiber wing for touring cars is a universal part, designed for compact and midsize sports and touring cars rather than one specific model. It is only compatible with the original version of the GTC-200, so read the compatibility note before ordering.

Which version of the GTC-200 does it fit?

The manufacturer's note on this listing says it is only compatible with the original version of the GTC-200. The page does not say what differs between versions, so confirm which version you have with us before ordering.

What is the wing made from?

Carbon fiber reinforced polymer airfoils with pre-impregnated woven carbon fibers, made by pre-impregnated composite production, high-temperature autoclaving, and vacuum bagging in aluminum billet molds. The airfoil sits on 10mm 6061 billet aluminum pedestals with a matte black powder coat.

How big is it, and how much downforce does it make?

The GTC-200 spans 59.5 inches and has an optimized 3D airfoil shape that generates substantial downforce. On APR's chart it rates three bars of downforce against two of drag.

What is the PPF film option?

The page offers PPF film as an optional extra for an additional $200, chosen at checkout. Contact us if you want details on the film before ordering.

How long does delivery take?

The wing is made to order or special order from the manufacturer, so it is not typically in stock. After you order, we confirm the estimated lead time and other order details. Talk to us first if you have a specific deadline.

Technical Features

The GTC Series airfoils are crafted from composite materials that combine carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) to achieve a robust yet lightweight structure. To ensure exceptional durability, the airfoils incorporate pre-impregnated woven carbon fibers. The manufacturing process employs sophisticated techniques, such as pre-impregnated composite production, high-temperature autoclaving, vacuum bagging, and the use of top-quality aluminum billet molds, all aimed at delivering superior performance and precision.
The GTC Series airfoils are crafted using composite materials that merge carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP), renowned for its strength and lightness, resulting in a robust yet lightweight structure. These airfoils boast a sophisticated pattern of pre-impregnated carbon fibers, providing an ideal balance of durability and lightweight structure. To achieve exceptional quality, the manufacturing process employs advanced techniques such as high-temperature autoclaving, pre-impregnated composite production, vacuum bagging, and the use of top-quality aluminum billet molds.
- The stability and durability of the GTC Series airfoils are enhanced by incorporating carbon fiber composites onto 10mm 6061 billet aluminum pedestals. These pedestals undergo a matte black powder coating process to provide additional protection and ensure a secure attachment for the carbon fiber airfoil while keeping it lightweight and sturdy. This design results in exceptional performance.

About APR Performance

APR Performance designs and builds carbon fiber aerodynamic components at its facility in Chino, California. Its wing families are developed with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), and APR publishes the CFD data for its GTC and GT ranges so buyers can compare downforce and drag before choosing a setting. Parts are laid up in pre-preg carbon fiber, cured in an autoclave, finished in a UV-resistant clear coat and covered by a one-year warranty against defects in workmanship and materials.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
