Which cars does this adjustable wing for C6 Chevrolet fit?

This adjustable wing for C6 Chevrolet fits the C6 Corvette Z06, 2006-2013, and the C6 Corvette ZR1, 2009-2013, as listed on the page. Confirm your model and model year with us before ordering.

Does it fit the base C6, the Grand Sport or the convertible?

The page lists the Z06 and the ZR1 only. It does not name the base Corvette, the Grand Sport or the convertible, so confirm with us before ordering if your car is one of those.

Does it come with Gurney flaps, and can the angle be adjusted?

Yes to both. Every GT-250 wing comes with Gurney flaps already installed, and angle adjustment holes allow easy tuning of the downforce. The page does not give an angle range, so contact us if you need one.

What is the wing made from, and how big is it?

Carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) airfoils in 3K pre-preg carbon fiber with a 2×2 twill weave and a UV-stable clear coat, made with high-temperature autoclave and vacuum bagging in aluminum billet molds. The span is up to 71 inches with a 10-inch chord, on 6061 billet aluminum pedestals with a flat black powder coating.

What do the side plates and fasteners do?

The page says the stainless-steel fasteners included with the wing make it easy to adjust the orientation of the side plates. It does not describe the side plates further, so contact us if you want to know what ships in the box.

What is the PPF film option, and how long does delivery take?

PPF film is an optional extra for an additional $200, chosen at checkout. The wing is made to order or special order from the manufacturer, so we confirm the estimated lead time after you order. Talk to us first if you have a specific deadline.

Features

The GT Series wings feature a redesigned 2D airfoil shape that boasts low drag but remarkable aerodynamic performance. To validate its efficiency, the wing was submitted to a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis. This “2D” design gives it the quality of generating a consistent amount of downforce along the entire length of the wing.
The GT Series airfoils are constructed with a combination of lightweight carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) composite material and durable aluminum billet molds. By pre-pregnating composite fibers, such as woven carbon fiber sheets, the airfoils attain greater stability while not adding any additional weight. The process to create them involves using high-temperature autoclave and vacuum bagging to make sure of the superior quality of the CFRP airfoils.
The stainless-steel fasteners included with the product make it easy to adjust the orientation of the side plates.
The 10mm airfoils are supported by 6061 “aircraft grade” billet aluminum pedestals which are finished with flat black powder coating.

Applications

Chevrolet Corvette Z06: C6 | 2006-2013
Chevrolet Corvette ZR1: C6 | 2009-2013

Notes

Every GT-250 wing comes equipped with Gurney flaps, which are already installed for your convenience. These flaps are incredibly lightweight and are manufactured using pre-impregnated carbon fiber processes.

About APR Performance

APR Performance designs and builds carbon fiber aerodynamic components at its facility in Chino, California. Its wing families are developed with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), and APR publishes the CFD data for its GTC and GT ranges so buyers can compare downforce and drag before choosing a setting. Parts are laid up in pre-preg carbon fiber, cured in an autoclave, finished in a UV-resistant clear coat and covered by a one-year warranty against defects in workmanship and materials.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. Please review the full Terms & Conditions here.

BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
