Which cars does this 74 inch wing for VX I Dodge Viper fit?

This 74 inch wing for VX I Dodge Viper fits the 2013-2017 VX I Dodge Viper, as listed on the page. Confirm your model and model year with us before ordering.

Does it fit the Viper ACR Extreme, the earlier SRT-10 or the ZB Viper?

The page lists the 2013-2017 VX I Viper and does not name the ACR Extreme, which has its own 71-inch listing linked in the Notes. The earlier SRT-10 and ZB Vipers are different cars and are not listed. Confirm with us before ordering if your car is one of those.

Is it only for widebody cars?

The page says the wing supplies the greatest downforce to widebody sports and touring cars because of its 74-inch span. It does not say whether it suits every VX I Viper, so contact us with your car before ordering.

How does it mount, and what happens to the factory wing?

The page gives no mounting details and does not say how the wing attaches or what happens to the car's factory rear wing or spoiler. It lists 10mm 6061 aircraft-grade billet aluminum pedestals. Contact us for the installation details before ordering.

What is the wing made from, and does it have Gurney flaps?

Carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) airfoils made from pre-impregnated woven carbon fiber sheets, with high-temperature autoclave and vacuum bagging in aluminum billet molds, on 10mm 6061 aircraft-grade billet aluminum pedestals with a glossy, flat black powder coat. The span is 74 inches. The page does not mention Gurney flaps or an angle-adjustment range, so contact us if you need those details.

What is the PPF film option, and how long does delivery take?

PPF film is an optional extra for an additional $200, chosen at checkout. The wing is made to order or special order from the manufacturer, so we confirm the estimated lead time after you order. Talk to us first if you have a specific deadline.

Downforce / Drag Graph

Downforce – ||||

Technical Features

The GTC Series wings incorporate an aerodynamic 3D airfoil shape engineered to optimally balance downforce and drag, both of which have been verified through computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis. This aerodynamic architecture allows for a desirable level of downforce to be maintained in tandem with drag minimization.
The GTC Series airfoils are fabricated with carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) composite materials, which are renowned for their exceptional robustness and lightweight nature. The construction process utilizes pre-impregnated woven carbon fiber sheets that further bolster their strength-to-weight ratio. Composite production techniques, including high-temperature autoclave and vacuum bagging, are employed and expertly accomplished in aluminum billet molds of the highest quality.
- The GTC Series airfoils have been fabricated with a combination of lightweight yet resilient carbon fiber composites, and 10mm 6061 aircraft-grade billet aluminum pedestals with a glossy, flat black powder coat finish.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
