Alpha Radiator

• In the Alpha cooling system, the stock radiator is substituted with a larger, all-aluminum radiator manufactured by Griffin. This radiator features a dual pass design, which enhances fluid velocity through the core, resulting in improved heat transfer capabilities. The Alpha radiator is designed to utilize all the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) mounting hardware and includes provisions for mounting the air conditioning (A/C) condenser in its factory location.

Alpha Transmission Cooler

• A crucial element of the cooling system is the AMS Laminova high-volume liquid-to-liquid transmission cooler. This cooler features a cylindrical design with a heat exchanger that incorporates numerous heat dissipating fins, maximizing the contact area for the transmission fluid. The innovative design provides 20% more cooling efficiency compared to the traditional air-to-oil coolers commonly used by competitors.

Alpha Oil Cooler

• To guarantee that the oil in your GT-R’s engine maintains optimal lubrication, the Alpha cooling kit tackles the issue of the insufficient factory engine oil cooler. It does so by introducing an additional cooler in series. This new Setrab cooler effectively doubles the frontal area within the system, allowing for increased exposure to cool and dense outside air. As a result, oil temperatures are drastically reduced before the oil returns to the engine, ensuring optimal operating conditions.

Optional Race Cooling Kit

• AMS Performance offers an optional race cooling kit that includes an external transmission oil cooler and a specially designed molded plastic duct to facilitate the intake of fresh air.
