Akrapovič has engineered this exhaust system from high-grade, lightweight titanium, featuring a central muffler with two pairs of handcrafted, double round carbon-fiber tailpipes that include acoustic reflectors to enhance the sound experience for both driver and passengers. Equipped with dual valves on each side to control gas flow — housed in cast components made in-house by Akrapovič — the system achieves a 44.8% reduction in weight, shedding 14.6kg compared to the stock sport exhaust. Tested on the Akrapovič dyno against a Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid Coupé with a stock sport exhaust, it showed a power gain of 4.2kW (5.7hp) at 5950rpm and an 8.0Nm torque increase at 2150rpm. Inside the cabin, the exhaust’s harmonized sound profile delivers an impression reminiscent of a V12 engine, perfectly tuned to the engine’s operation. With a specially developed control kit, Akrapovič has converted the exhaust system from mechanical to mechatronic, guiding gas flow smoothly from each link pipe into the muffler without unwanted streaming or whistling noises, while damping frequency peaks for comfort during cruising. When driven dynamically, the system fully embraces a sportier, more pronounced sound. The Evolution Line (titanium) exhaust system adapts effortlessly to the car’s driving dynamics, balancing comfort and sportiness, with simple plug-and-play installation requiring no ECU remap. For enhanced auditory pleasure, an optional Akrapovič Sound Kit is available to deepen the sound at lower revs and further amplify it as revs rise, creating a thoroughly immersive experience.
