Structural Design Optimization

• Utilizing CATIA, an industry-leading 3D modeling and design software, the team at ADRO meticulously engineers the mounting structure. This process ensures both the structural integrity of the components and minimizes the potential for vehicle damage.

Prepreg Carbon

• In line with their innovative approach and internal standards, ADRO introduces optional prepreg carbon fiber components to complement the M3/M4 facelift kit, garnering attention for the vehicle. Each side skirt, wing, and diffuser is crafted using a prepreg carbon fiber method, ensuring precise control over resin and carbon fiber usage to achieve optimal structural strength and weight reduction. The front lip, constructed using wet carbon, retains flexibility, crucial for a component likely to encounter road stress.

Prototype and Fitment

• A master prototype is then precision-machined through CNC machining. This carefully crafted model is fitted to a factory vehicle, with necessary modifications and adjustments made as required. Once fitment and design reach satisfactory levels, a mold is created based on the prototype, leading to the production of a pre-production unit. This pre-production unit undergoes another fitment test before receiving approval for full-scale production.
