Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear: The Jesko Refined For War

Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear: The Jesko Refined For War

A Track-Only Evolution With No Interest In Holding Back

Koenigsegg doesn’t do things halfway. Their latest announcement, the Sadair’s Spear, takes the already extreme Jesko and transforms it into a weapon with one purpose—absolute domination on the track. Quietly revealed to a select group of Koenigsegg owners, the Spear isn’t a reinvention. It’s a surgical refinement of the Jesko Attack, stripped of anything unnecessary and rearmed with everything needed to go faster, longer, and harder.

Sharper, Lighter, Built for Speed

Named after the last horse Christian von Koenigsegg’s father, Jesko, rode in competition, the Sadair’s Spear is a nod to heritage, but there’s nothing old about it. The car rides lower, carves sharper, and slices through the air with more efficiency than anything Koenigsegg has released before. With over 1,600 horsepower on E85 and chassis tweaks that unlock its true potential, the Spear is the kind of machine you build when you’re not interested in compromise.

Track-Dominating Hardware and Aerodynamics

Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear - frontKoenigsegg’s design team went deep on aero. The nose features a set of new high-downforce canards, revised vent geometries, and a Gurney flap integrated into the front edge. However, it’s the rear of the car that truly reveals its true nature. The Sadair’s Spear features a stretched tail section and a radically redesigned “double-blade” active rear wing. It’s not just bigger; it’s smarter, adapting to speed, steering input, and brake pressure in real time to plant the car harder than ever before.

The engine benefits too. With enhanced intake ducting, updated plumbing, and improved thermal management, the twin-turbo 5.0L V8 now produces a peak output of 1,603 hp on E85. This improvement is achieved without modifying the core internals; instead, it relies on clever airflow and cooling upgrades to make a fast car even faster.

Each corner gets its own unique “Aircore” carbon-fiber wheel, styled with a turbine-inspired design that’s directional to optimize brake cooling and aerodynamics. Wrapped in wider Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R tires, they are connected to an upgraded suspension package utilizing Koenigsegg’s Triplex system, featuring custom-valved dampers and lighter springs. Braking is handled by massive carbon-ceramic rotors paired with a new high-friction pad compound for fade-free performance, lap after lap.

Purpose-Built Interior, Reduced Weight

Inside, it’s all function. Carbon fiber race seats are standard, bolted directly into the chassis for maximum feedback and minimum weight. Optional six-point harnesses can be factory-fitted for those planning serious seat time. Driver telemetry, live data monitoring, and camera systems come integrated. As a result of the stripped-back cabin and composite refinements, the Sadair’s Spear weighs in at 75 pounds lighter than the Jesko Attack.

Limited Production, Unlimited Focus

Early shakedown runs at Sweden’s GotlandRing confirmed what Koenigsegg set out to prove: the Sadair’s Spear is faster than the Jesko Attack, lapping the track over a second quicker. Production is capped at just 30 units, all already spoken for. This car is for the few who understand what it means to own something this engineered and exclusive, so no price was announced.
