The Ferrari 812 Gets Loud With Kline Innovation

The Ferrari 812 Gets Loud With Kline Innovation

Unleashing The Ferrari 812’s V12 Sound With Inconel

Ferrari 812 GTS Aperta running complete Kline Inconel exhaust.

Kline Innovation delivers a purpose-built exhaust upgrade for Ferrari 812 owners seeking sharper response, weight reduction, and refined sound dynamics. Whether you drive the hardtop 812 Superfast or open-air 812 GTS, Kline’s Valvetronic rear section systems are engineered for seamless integration and maximum impact. Built from aerospace-grade Inconel 625, they offer exceptional thermal performance and tonal clarity without sacrificing everyday drivability.

Ferrari 812 - side

Ferrari’s 6.5L V12 doesn’t need gimmicks; it just needs room to breathe. Kline’s rear section achieves that with a lightweight, valve-controlled design that adapts to the moment. Keep the valves closed for a calm, composed tone during long drives, or open them up for a sharp, full-bodied wail that turns every throttle input into an event. The system blends into the factory layout but completely transforms the experience behind the wheel.

From Touring Comfort To Track-Level Drama

Using a custom Valvetronic layout, Kline’s rear section adapts to throttle inputs, letting the car cruise silently through neighborhoods or howl on wide-open throttle. At the heart of the system is a fully optimized laminar flow X-pipe, designed to enrich harmonics, increase pitch, and give the exhaust note that classic F1 edge.

To match sound with substance, Kline replaces the restrictive stock catalyst with high-flow 100-cell HJS sports cats. This setup maintains emissions compliance in many regions while dramatically improving tone, flow, and throttle response.

Inconel: Motorsport Material, Now for the Street

The star of the build is Inconel 625, an aerospace-grade nickel-chromium alloy known for its use in Formula One and hypercar applications. It offers an unbeatable strength-to-weight ratio and extreme thermal resistance. Compared to the standard 304-grade stainless steel option, the Inconel system weighs nearly 43 percent less: 19.7 kg versus 34 kg.

Ferrari 812 - rear

This weight savings isn’t just for bragging rights; it reduces rear-end load and helps preserve the dynamic balance Ferrari engineered into the 812 chassis. It also lets Kline craft thinner-walled tubing that won’t fatigue or distort under repeated thermal cycling. While Inconel’s machinability is challenging and its cost steep, Kline’s in-house capabilities, ranging from CNC welding to mandrel bending and mold manufacturing, make the exotic alloy a viable option for discerning owners.

Heat Shielding That Works As Hard As It Looks

To manage underhood temps and improve scavenging, Kline offers embossed stainless steel heat shielding, hand-formed and welded for a perfect fit. These shields don’t just look sharp; they protect components, reduce heat soak, and enhance the exhaust system’s overall effectiveness. It’s functional artistry built to endure.

Application-Specific Engineering, OEM-Level Fitment

Both the Ferrari 812 Superfast (2017+) and the Type F152M 812 GTS (2019+) are supported, with tailored geometry for optimal clearance and performance. The system features 70mm cross sections for the downpipe, center, and rear sections. Valves direct flow through a 45mm transit when closed or 70mm free-flow when open. The result is total control over tone and volume without compromising performance.

Optional configurations include 100- or 200-cell sports cats, and users can add the Kline “INCONEL BUTTON” wireless valve controller for instant access to full-open throttle mode throughout the RPM range.

A Complete Vision Built In-House

Kline doesn’t outsource. Every aspect of development, scanning, modeling, cutting, welding, fabrication, and QC, is done in-house. Their laser scanning process ensures fitment and finish on par with OEM levels, while partnerships with high-tier clients like W Motors and RUF speak to the quality behind each system.

This isn’t mass production. It’s low-volume, no-compromise craftsmanship with a performance payoff you can feel every time you fire the car up.
