OS Giken’s TR2C Overhaul Kit A for RX-7 RX-8 clutches brings a worn TR2C twin plate clutch back to full capacity by replacing both discs, the center plate, the pressure plate and the cover bolts, while the existing TR cover stays in service. It is the economical rebuild when that cover is still flat and clamping evenly, and it returns the clutch to the roughly 850 lb-ft rating OS Giken USA gives it. OS Giken USA describes the TR series as built for engines with substantial increases in power, with a diaphragm spring shaped to reduce overall pedal effort.

The TR2C Overhaul Kit A for RX-7 RX-8 clutches is matched to the TR2C clutch (MZ101-BF5). Rebuilding before the clutch slips badly protects the flywheel and cover from heat damage. OS Giken also sells Overhaul Kit B (MZ101-BF50B), which adds a new cover.

OS Giken was founded in Okayama, Japan in 1973 by Masaharu Okazaki. It built the TC16 and TC24-B1 DOHC cylinder heads for Nissan L-series engines, began making multi-plate racing clutches in 1982 and started supplying OEM limited-slip differentials in 1983. Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule.
