TEIN EDFC Motor Kit M14 / M14

TEIN’s EDFC Motor Kit M14 / M14 is the motor set for TEIN dampers that call for M14 motors on both axles, turning a hand-set damping adjuster into one driven from a controller in the cabin. TEIN treats it as a required part of an EDFC system, bought alongside an EDFC5 or EDFC ACTIVE PRO controller. Turn 14 does not stock this size, so BA orders it from TEIN as a special order at the TEIN USA price of $165.

Same Family, Different Motor Size

This kit belongs to the same TEIN family as the M12 / M12 kit, which Turn 14 describes with a sealed rubber cover over each motor, a smaller stepping motor that suits more applications, and a complete wiring loom with male and female connectors plus extended wiring. About TEIN

TEIN was founded in Yokohama, Japan, in 1985 by former rally mechanic Hakaru Ichino, joined soon after by driver Yoshio Fujimoto. The team reached the World Rally Championship in 1989, and in 1995 Fujimoto won the Safari Rally in a Toyota Celica GT-FOUR, the first Japanese driver to do so. TEIN launched its own dampers in 1990 and came to supply around 80 percent of the dampers in the N1 Taikyu endurance series. TEIN USA has served the Americas from Downey, California, since 2001.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule.
