TEIN’s Racing Springs 16K 125mm cover the rear axle of the Super Racing damper kit TEIN builds for the 1996-2000 EK Honda Civic. Each coil is rated at 16.0 kgf/mm, two thirds of the 24.0 kgf/mm TEIN asks for at the front, on the same 125 mm length and 58 mm ID. They make sense for a track Civic on coilovers with 58 mm seats, not for a commuter on stock suspension.

Racing springs from TEIN use a coil design with less material than the brand’s Standard springs. The payoff is more usable stroke and a lighter part at each rear corner. About TEIN

TEIN was founded in Yokohama, Japan, in 1985 by former rally mechanic Hakaru Ichino, joined soon after by driver Yoshio Fujimoto. The team reached the World Rally Championship in 1989, and in 1995 Fujimoto won the Safari Rally in a Toyota Celica GT-FOUR, the first Japanese driver to do so.
