Garrett’s G40 Turbine Housing Kit in 1.06 A/R gives a twin-scroll G40 build more exhaust flow than the two smaller sizes, with a divided T4 inlet, a V-band outlet sized at 117.4mm and a free-float layout. It is cast in stainless steel and fits all five G40 super cores Garrett lists, including the G-Series II G40-1250 rated to 1250 horsepower. This is the size for a larger six-cylinder or a small V8 that wants power across the top of the rev range. A 2.0L street engine will find it slow to build boost.
