Why is this sold as a set of five?

The RS3 and TT RS use a five cylinder engine, so five injectors make a complete set. Injector Dynamics flow matches the five as a group, which keeps fuel delivery even from cylinder to cylinder. Single replacements are arranged through Injector Dynamics rather than bought separately, so the match is preserved.

Which RS3 and TT RS model years does Injector Dynamics list?

Injector Dynamics lists this configuration for the Audi RS3 and TT RS without naming model years. Before ordering, compare the existing injectors with this 34mm body and its 14mm top and lower O-rings, or ask our team to confirm the fit using your VIN and any fuel system changes already made.

Are the ID1300-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors a good choice for an E85 RS3?

Yes, for a build with an upgraded turbo or a flex fuel tune. The ID1300-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors were designed for alternative fuels, and E85 needs roughly a third more fuel volume than gasoline. Pair them with a fuel pump that can supply the extra demand and a calibration built on the Injector Dynamics data.

Should I tune the car before or after fitting the injectors?

After fitting, before driving. The injectors flow far more than stock and need their characterization data entered into the engine management. Most builds combine the injector change with a fuel pump or boost upgrade, so the tuner can calibrate everything in one session.

What connector adapters might my car need?

Each injector has a USCAR connector. Injector Dynamics makes plug and play adapters for Denso, EV1 and Honda OBD2 style plugs, sold separately. Check the plug on your factory wiring before installation day so the right adapter is on hand, or confirm the car is already wired for USCAR.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1300-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and Lower O-Rings, Set of 5

Injector Dynamics’ ID1300-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors make up this set of five for the Audi RS3 and TT RS five-cylinder, using the short 34mm body with 14mm O-rings at the top and bottom. With 1335cc/min available per cylinder, the set is aimed at larger turbo upgrades and E85 or flex-fuel tunes, the point where the engine asks for more fuel than stock parts were sized to deliver. The 1300 still meters small amounts accurately enough for clean gasoline idle. Owners keeping the stock turbo on pump fuel can leave the factory injectors alone.

Configuration

Five injectors cover the five cylinders of the RS3 and TT RS engine. The 34mm body has no top adapter, so the 14mm top O-ring seals straight into the rail, with a matching 14mm O-ring at the tip.

Features

Compatible with all known fuels, with a design aimed at ethanol and methanol
Minimum fuel mass kept compatible with gasoline, for steady idle and cruise on pump fuel
1335cc/min nominal flow on iso-octane at 3.0 bar
Flow matched as a set of five, with characterization data for the calibration

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1335cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), iso-octane at 52C (125F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 7.0 bar (101.5 psi)
Fuel compatibility: All known fuels; designed specifically for alternative fuels
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 34mm
Top: 14mm O-ring, no adapter
Lower: 14mm O-ring

What’s Included

ID1300-XDS fuel injectors with 14mm top and lower O-rings (x5)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID1300-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

Audi: RS3, TT RS

Notes

Wiring with Denso plugs needs the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter or an equivalent, because every injector here has a USCAR connector
The engine management must be recalibrated with the Injector Dynamics characterization data before the car is driven

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
