Are the ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in this set right for a Whipple Coyote?

No. Injector Dynamics lists a separate version of the ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with a blue 14mm bottom adapter for the Coyote with a Whipple supercharger. This set, with the silver adapter, is listed for the 2011 and later Mustang GT, F150 5.0, 2020 and later GT500 and 2011 to 2014 Raptor.

Does the GT350 use this set?

Yes. Injector Dynamics includes the GT350 under the 2011 and later Mustang GT entry for this configuration. Confirm the injector connector and rail on your car, and plan the calibration with a tuner who has the Injector Dynamics data for the 2600.

Which fuels should a Coyote build avoid with these?

Ethers and nitromethane. Injector Dynamics does not approve MTBE, ETBE, TAME or nitromethane for the ID2600-XDS. Methanol, ethanol and all known hydrocarbon fuels are approved, so a boosted Coyote, GT500 or Raptor on E85 or methanol is within the rating.

Will I have to cut my engine wiring?

Usually not. The injectors carry USCAR connectors, and where the engine uses Denso, EV1 or OBD2 Honda plugs, an Injector Dynamics plug and play adapter bridges the two without splicing. Those adapters are bought separately, so look at the plug on your current injectors to see which one you need.

Are the eight Coyote injectors matched?

Yes. Injector Dynamics matches all eight with Dual Slope Matching, in the linear range and down into the short pulse range, so both banks of the Coyote receive even fuel at idle and at full boost. Single replacements are arranged through Injector Dynamics under the one year defect warranty.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 14mm Bottom Adapter, Set of 8

Injector Dynamics’ ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors arrive as a set of eight with purple 14mm top adapters and silver 14mm bottom adapters, the layout Injector Dynamics lists for the 2011 and later Coyote 5.0 in the Mustang GT and F150, the 2020 and later Mustang GT500 and the 2011-2014 SVT Raptor. Eight of them at 2600cc/min nominal are for a Coyote or GT500 with a large supercharger or twin turbos on E85 or methanol. A bolt-on Coyote on pump gasoline has no use for this much fuel; an ID1050-XDS is the easier fit.

Configuration

Silver bottom adapters are fitted so the lower seal suits the listed Ford manifolds. Whipple-supercharged Coyotes use a different set with a blue bottom adapter.

Features

Developed with Bosch Motorsport for liquid fuels; the highest flow rate of any injector Bosch offers
Corrosion-resistant internals for long-term ethanol and methanol service
About 50 percent more flow than the ID1700x
Dual Slope Matching across the linear and non-linear range for consistency at short pulse widths

Specifications

Nominal flow: 2600cc/min
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 9.0 bar (130.5 psi)
Minimum voltage: 11 volts
Fuel compatibility: Methanol, ethanol and all known hydrocarbons; not ethers or nitromethane
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 60mm
Top: 14mm adapter (purple)
Lower: 14mm bottom adapter (silver)

What’s Included

ID2600-XDS fuel injectors with 14mm top adapters and 14mm bottom adapters fitted (x8)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

Ford: F150 5.0 2011+, Mustang GT 2011+ including GT350, Mustang GT500 2020+, SVT Raptor 2011-2014

Notes

USCAR connectors are fitted; Denso, EV1 and OBD2 Honda wiring each need a plug-and-play adapter, sold separately, and for Denso plugs that is the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter
Silver 14mm bottom adapters come fitted, giving the injector a 14mm lower seal
The engine management must be recalibrated with the Injector Dynamics characterization data before the engine is driven
Keep injector supply voltage at or above the 11 volt minimum Injector Dynamics specifies

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
