Do the ID1050-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors fit an LS3 or a 2011+ Mustang?

No. This set is listed for LS1, LS6 and LT1 engines and the 1988 to 2010 Mustang GT. The LS3 family uses a shorter body and a 15mm lower seal, and the 2011 and later Coyote Mustang takes a 60mm set with a bottom adapter.

Is this set right for a supercharged C5 Corvette?

Yes. Injector Dynamics lists the C5 Corvette, including the Z06, for the ID1050-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration. Eight 1065cc per minute injectors suit a supercharged or turbocharged LS1 or LS6 on gasoline and give room for ethanol blends.

Will an LS1 or Mustang GT run on these with a piggyback?

No. A piggyback or stock calibration cannot account for eight injectors this size. The PCM needs a full recalibration using the Injector Dynamics flow, offset and short pulse data for the ID1050-XDS, so fueling on an LS1, LT1 or Mustang GT is accurate from idle to full boost.

What fuel pressure can these injectors handle?

Injector Dynamics rates the ID1050-XDS to 10 bar, or 145 psi, of differential pressure, which is higher than the 7 bar rating of the ID1300-XDS and ID1750-XDS. That margin suits returnless systems and boost referenced regulators running high base pressure. Flow is rated at 3.0 bar, so more pressure means more flow.

Are the eight injectors in this set matched?

Yes. Injector Dynamics flow matches all eight so each cylinder of the V8 receives the same fuel. That is also why a single replacement comes through Injector Dynamics. The set carries a one year warranty from purchase against manufacturer defects, conditional on correct fuel and proper filtration.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1050-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 14mm Lower O-Ring, Set of 8

Injector Dynamics’ ID1050-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in this eight-piece layout are the go-to set for the LS1, LS6 and LT1 generation of GM V8s and the 1988-2010 Ford Mustang GT, with purple 14mm tops and 14mm lower O-rings. These are the cars where a supercharger, a turbo kit or E85 is the usual next step, and that is when 1065cc/min per cylinder earns its place. A bolt-on V8 on pump gas will run them happily after a tune but has no need for them.

Configuration

A 60mm body with 14mm seals top and bottom is the long-running V8 layout Injector Dynamics lists for the cars below.

Features

Revised internal flow path adds about five percent over the ID1000 without giving up low-flow control
Replaceable inlet filter for service life on less than perfect fuel
Compact body shared across more than 200 applications in its lengths and seal options
Eight injectors flow matched for balanced fueling across both banks

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1065cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), gasoline at 52C (125F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 10.0 bar (145 psi)
Fuel compatibility: All known fuels
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 60mm
Top: 14mm adapter (purple)
Lower: 14mm O-ring

What’s Included

ID1050-XDS fuel injectors with 14mm top adapters fitted (x8)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID1050-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

BMW: 540i and 740i
Chevrolet: LS1 and LS6 engines; Camaro 1993-1996 LT1; Camaro 1998-2001 LS1; C5 Corvette including Z06
Ford: SVT Lightning; F150 Harley-Davidson; Mustang GT 1988-1996, 1997-2004 and 2005-2010; Mustang Cobra 1999-2004
Holden: Commodore VTII, VX and VY LS1; Monaro LS1
Pontiac: Firebird and Trans Am 1993-1997 LT1; Firebird and Trans Am 1998-2002 LS1; GTO 2004 LS1

Notes

No connector adapters are included; if your injector plugs are Denso, add the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter, and EV1 or OBD2 wiring needs the matching Injector Dynamics adapter
Later LS engines and 2011+ Coyote Mustangs take different configurations
A tune is required after installation; the Injector Dynamics data covers flow, offset and short pulse behavior

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
