Do Honda engines need an adapter for the ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors?

Yes, in most cases. The ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors use USCAR connectors, and Honda engines wired with OBD2 style plugs need the Injector Dynamics USCAR to OBD2 Honda adapter, sold separately. Check the plug on your current injectors, since older or swapped engine wiring may differ.

Does the SR20DET take the 11mm or the 14mm top version?

Both exist. Injector Dynamics lists the SR20DET, the 240SX and the G20 in both 11mm top and 14mm top forms, so check which top seal your fuel rail uses. This set has the 11mm top; the 14mm top version is sold separately with the same 60mm body.

Why choose the 2600 over a smaller injector for a Honda build?

Only for very high fuel demand. The ID2600-XDS is the highest flowing injector Bosch offers, rated to 9 bar against 7 bar for the ID1300-XDS and ID1750-XDS. A Honda or SR20DET on alcohol fuel with a very large turbo can use it; most other builds cannot.

What tuning data comes with these injectors?

Characterization data from Injector Dynamics, including the 605 microsecond offset at 43.5 psi and 12 volts and the short pulse behaviour. Whether a given Honda, Nissan or Toyota ECU can use all of it depends on the engine management, so confirm with your tuner before ordering.

How is the four injector set matched?

Injector Dynamics flow tests the four with Dual Slope Matching, covering both the linear range and the short pulse range where a small four cylinder idles. That keeps each cylinder within close tolerance of the others. Matched replacements come through Injector Dynamics under the one year defect warranty.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with 11mm Top and 14mm Lower O-Ring, Set of 4

Injector Dynamics’ ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors are set up here with a blue 11mm top and a 14mm lower O-ring, four to a set, matching the layout Injector Dynamics lists for 1988-2001 Honda and Acura models, the SR20DET, the 11mm-top Infiniti G20 and the 3S-GTE Celica All-Trac. That is a group of engines with long histories in turbo builds, and the 2600 is for the ones at the far end, on methanol or E85 with a very large turbo. A street Civic or Integra on a small turbo and pump gasoline will be far easier to tune on an ID1050-XDS.

Features

Built to Injector Dynamics specification with Bosch Motorsport, the top-flowing injector in the Bosch range
Internals resist corrosion from long-term exposure to methanol and ethanol
Flows roughly half again as much as the ID1700x

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

Honda and Acura: Accord 1992-1995 and 1996-2002, Civic 1988-1995 and 1996-2000, Integra 1990-1995 and 1996-2001, Prelude 1992-1996 and 1997-2001
Infiniti G20: 1991-1996 and 1999-2002 | 11mm top versions
Nissan: 240SX S13 / S14 / S15 and FWD SR20DET | 11mm top versions
Toyota Celica All-Trac: 1989-1999 | 3S-GTE, 11mm top version

Notes

Each injector has a USCAR plug; engines wired for Denso, EV1, OBD2 Honda or 2012+ Honda connectors need an Injector Dynamics adapter, and the Denso one is the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter
A tuner must load the Injector Dynamics characterization data and recalibrate the ECU after installation
Injector Dynamics specifies a minimum supply of 11 volts for the ID2600-XDS

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
