Do the ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors with the R35 spacer fit a 2013 Genesis 2.0t?

No. Injector Dynamics lists the ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors with the R35 lower spacer for the 2009 to 2012 Genesis 2.0t. For the 2013 to 2014 car it lists a 60mm injector with a 14mm top and 14mm lower O-ring, sold as a separate set of four.

What does the R35 lower spacer do?

It sits below the 14mm lower O-ring and is the spacer type Injector Dynamics uses on its GT-R configuration. On this set it is part of the specified fit for the 2009 to 2012 Genesis 2.0t, so the injectors should be installed with the spacers in place, as supplied.

Is methanol safe in these Genesis injectors?

Yes. Injector Dynamics developed the ID2600-XDS with Bosch Motorsport for long term ethanol and methanol compatibility, with corrosion resistant internals. On a Genesis 2.0t running methanol, keep filtration in good order, because the warranty depends on it. Ethers and nitromethane are the fuels to avoid.

What does a tuner need for a Genesis 2.0t on these injectors?

The Injector Dynamics characterization data for the 2600, which gives flow, voltage offsets and short pulse behaviour. Your tuner loads it into the Genesis calibration first, then adjusts fuel and timing for the larger turbo and the fuel the car will run.

What if one injector in the Genesis set goes bad?

Contact us and we will arrange it with Injector Dynamics, which supplies single replacements for its flow matched sets so the four stay balanced. Manufacturer defects are covered for one year from purchase, provided the car ran the correct fuel with proper filtration.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top, 14mm Lower O-Ring and R35 Spacer, Set of 4

Injector Dynamics’ ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in this four-injector kit pair a grey 14mm top adapter with a 14mm lower O-ring and a lower spacer, and the published application for the layout is the 2009-2012 Hyundai Genesis 2.0t. The R35 in the part number names the spacer, the same style Injector Dynamics uses on its GT-R configuration, fitted below the O-ring. Four injectors flowing 2600cc/min nominal each make sense on a Genesis 2.0t that has gone to a much larger turbo and alcohol fuel. On a lightly modified car the ID1300-XDS is the easier fit for idle and part throttle.

Injector Dynamics lists the ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

Hyundai Genesis 2.0t: 2009-2012

Notes

The connector is USCAR; plug-and-play adapters for Denso, EV1 and Honda wiring are separate parts, with the Denso version listed as the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter
R35 lower spacers and 14mm lower O-rings are fitted; install the injectors with the spacers in place
An ECU recalibration is required after fitting, using the Injector Dynamics characterization data
The ID2600-XDS needs at least 11 volts to operate

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
