Will the ID1300-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors handle E85 on a boosted Coyote?

Yes. Eight ID1300-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors at 1335cc per minute on iso-octane at 3.0 bar, rated for all known fuels, suit a supercharged or turbocharged Ford V8 on E85. Keep the 7.0 bar differential pressure limit in mind if a boost referenced regulator lifts base pressure.

Which set do I need for a Whipple supercharged Coyote?

Injector Dynamics lists the Whipple Coyote of 2011 and later with a 60mm set using the 14W blue bottom adapter, which is a separate part. This 14B set is listed for the Mustang GT, GT350, F150 5.0, GT500 and SVT Raptor, so confirm what your supercharger kit specifies before ordering.

Does a 2011 or later Mustang need a tune for these?

Yes. The Ford engine computer calculates fueling from injector flow, offset and short pulse data, and the ID1300-XDS differs from stock on all three. Injector Dynamics publishes the characterization data, which your tuner adds to the calibration before the car is driven hard.

Does this set fit a 2020 GT500?

Yes. Injector Dynamics lists the 2020 and later Mustang GT500 for this eight injector configuration, a 60mm body with a 14mm top and 14mm bottom adapter. On a supercharged GT500 the extra flow is most useful once E85 or a pulley change raises fuel demand, and the calibration must be updated.

Can I replace a single injector from this Ford set?

Yes, through Injector Dynamics. The eight injectors are flow matched, so a lone replacement must come from Injector Dynamics to stay consistent. Warranty coverage runs one year from purchase against manufacturer defects, conditional on the correct fuel and proper filtration.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1300-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 14mm Bottom Adapter, Set of 8

Injector Dynamics’ ID1300-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in this eight-injector set have a grey 14mm top and a 14mm bottom adapter, the layout Injector Dynamics lists for the 2011 and later Mustang GT including the GT350, the 2020 and later GT500, the 2011 and later F150 5.0 and the 2011-2014 SVT Raptor. These Ford V8s reach for an injector this size when a supercharger or turbo kit meets E85, and 1335cc/min per injector on iso-octane keeps fuel delivery ahead of demand. The 1300 keeps a minimum fuel mass that suits gasoline, so idle stays steady on pump fuel. A stock Mustang or F150 does not need it.

Configuration

This is the 14B bottom adapter version of the 60mm body. Whipple-supercharged Coyote engines are listed with a different, blue bottom adapter, so check which configuration your supercharger kit calls for.

Features

Flow matched as a set of 8
Designed specifically for alternative fuels and compatible with all known fuels
Compact body shared across more than 200 applications
Grey 14mm top adapter and 14mm bottom adapter for 2011 and later Ford V8 applications

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1335cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), iso-octane at 52C (125F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 7.0 bar (101.5 psi)
Fuel compatibility: All known fuels
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 60mm
Top: 14mm adapter (grey)
Lower: 14mm bottom adapter

What’s Included

ID1300-XDS fuel injectors with grey 14mm top adapters and 14mm bottom adapters (x8)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID1300-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

Ford F150: 2011+ | 5.0
Ford Mustang GT: 2011+, including GT350
Ford Mustang GT500: 2020+
Ford SVT Raptor: 2011-2014

Notes

Engines already wired for USCAR plug straight in; factory Denso plugs need the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter, and EV1 or OBD2 wiring needs the matching Injector Dynamics adapter
Plan an ECU recalibration using the published Injector Dynamics characterization data
Whipple-supercharged Coyote engines are listed with the 14W blue bottom adapter set instead

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
