Will this set fit an Audi R8 built before 2015?

No, not according to the Injector Dynamics table. It lists this ten injector configuration for the R8 from 2015 onward and for the Lamborghini Huracan. Earlier R8 models are not listed for it, so check with us or with Injector Dynamics before ordering for an older car.

Why do these injectors have no top adapter?

The 34mm body is the shortest ID1050-XDS, and on this length the 14mm top O-ring sits directly on the injector. Longer 48mm and 60mm versions use top adapters to reach the right height and seal size. Measure or compare your existing injectors, since the length has to match the rail and manifold.

Can the ID1050-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors run on E85?

Yes. Injector Dynamics rates the ID1050-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors for all known fuels, and the corrosion resistant internals are designed for long service on ethanol and methanol. Ethanol needs more fuel volume than gasoline for the same power, so the pump and lines on a converted V10 must keep up with the injectors.

What does my tuner need to set up the V10 on these injectors?

The Injector Dynamics characterization data for the ID1050-XDS. It describes flow rate, offset against voltage and short pulse behavior, which the engine management needs to meter fuel accurately. With that data loaded, idle and part throttle on the V10 can be set up to behave much like stock.

How long is the warranty on the R8 and Huracan set?

One year from purchase, covering manufacturer defects. The cover depends on running the correct fuel through proper filtration, so a fresh fuel filter belongs in the installation. Single replacements for a matched set of ten R8 and Huracan injectors are handled by Injector Dynamics, which also offers cleaning, inspection and flow testing in Arizona for injectors that have seen service.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1050-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and Lower O-Rings, Set of 10

Injector Dynamics’ ID1050-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors in this set of ten are the configuration Injector Dynamics lists for the 2015-on Audi R8 and the Lamborghini Huracan, both built around a V10. The 34mm body is the short version of the 1050 and carries 14mm O-rings directly at the top and bottom, with no adapters. Each injector flows 1065cc/min at 3.0 bar on gasoline and is stable up to 10 bar of differential pressure. A V10 on its factory calibration has fuel to spare; this set is for turbocharged or E85 conversions, where the original injectors become the limit.

Configuration

Read the part number as family 1050, a 34mm body, 14mm top, 14mm lower and ten injectors. Check that your current injectors share the 34mm length before ordering.

Features

Developed with Bosch Motorsport, with corrosion-resistant internals for every known fuel
Stronger magnetic circuit for stable operation to 10 bar
Compact body shared across more than 200 applications
Ten injectors flow matched as one set

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1065cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), gasoline at 52C (125F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 10.0 bar (145 psi)
Fuel compatibility: All known fuels
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 34mm
Top: No adapter; 14mm O-ring on the injector body
Lower: 14mm O-ring

What’s Included

ID1050-XDS fuel injectors (x10)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID1050-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

Audi R8: 2015+
Lamborghini Huracan

Notes

Short 34mm body with 14mm O-rings top and bottom and no top adapter
Earlier Audi R8 models are not on the Injector Dynamics list for this set
Plug-and-play adapters for Denso, EV1 and OBD2 wiring are not included with these USCAR-connector injectors; Denso-wired engines can use the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter
Budget for an ECU recalibration, as the tuner needs the Injector Dynamics characterization data for the 1050

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
