What fuels can the ID1300-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors run in a custom eight injector system?

Every known fuel, according to Injector Dynamics. The ID1300-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors were developed for ethanol and methanol, with stainless internals, and keep a minimum fuel mass that also works on gasoline. A custom eight injector setup can start on pump fuel and switch to alcohol later.

Which engines does this set fit?

Injector Dynamics does not publish a vehicle list for this exact part number. It fits any fuel system built for a 60mm injector with an 11mm top and a 14mm lower O-ring, which usually means a custom rail or an adapted manifold. Measure your current injectors and confirm both seal sizes before you order.

Can a custom engine run without recalibrating for these?

No. Any engine management controlling these injectors needs their flow, offset and short pulse data, or fueling will be wrong at idle and under load. Injector Dynamics publishes characterization data for the ID1300-XDS, and it should be loaded before the engine is run.

What should I measure before ordering?

Three things: the overall injector length, which must suit a 60mm body, the top seal, which must be 11mm, and the lower bore, which must take a 14mm O-ring. Injector Dynamics changes these per configuration on the same injector, so a mismatch in any one of them means a different part number.

How does this set compare with the ID1050-XDS for a custom build?

The ID1050-XDS flows 1065cc per minute on gasoline and is rated to 10 bar, an advantage on a high pressure gasoline system. The ID1300-XDS flows about 1335cc per minute, is rated to 7 bar and was designed for alternative fuels, so it is the stronger choice for an eight injector system on ethanol or methanol.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1300-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with 11mm Top and 14mm Lower O-Ring, Set of 8

Injector Dynamics’ ID1300-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in this eight-piece set combine a blue 11mm top with a 14mm lower O-ring on the 60mm body, a configuration aimed at custom or adapted eight-injector fuel systems. Injector Dynamics does not tie this part number to a vehicle, so the decision comes down to your rail and manifold: 60mm length, an 11mm top seal and a 14mm lower bore. Each ID1300-XDS flows 1335cc/min at 3.0 bar on iso-octane and handles every known fuel, which suits a boosted or alcohol-fueled eight-cylinder.

Configuration

Read 1300.60.11.14.8 as flow class, body length, top size, lower seal and count. Turn 14 lists the 11mm top adapter on this set as blue. Measure the existing injector length and both seal diameters before ordering.

Features

Flow matched as a set of 8
Designed specifically for alternative fuels and compatible with all known fuels
Compact body shared across more than 200 applications
Blue 11mm top and 14mm lower O-ring on the 60mm body

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1335cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), iso-octane at 52C (125F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 7.0 bar (101.5 psi)
Fuel compatibility: All known fuels
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 60mm
Top: 11mm adapter (blue)
Lower: 14mm O-ring

What’s Included

ID1300-XDS fuel injectors with blue 11mm top adapters and 14mm lower O-rings (x8)

Applications

Injector Dynamics does not publish a vehicle list for this configuration; it fits fuel systems built for a 60mm injector with an 11mm top and a 14mm lower O-ring.

Notes

Injector Dynamics publishes no vehicle list for this part number, so confirm length and both seal sizes against your fuel system before ordering
Engines already wired for USCAR plug straight in; factory Denso plugs need the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter, and EV1 or OBD2 wiring needs the matching Injector Dynamics adapter
An ECU recalibration with the Injector Dynamics characterization data is required before the engine is driven

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
