What engine is this set of three for?

There is no published vehicle list for this part number. It fits a fuel system built for three 48mm injectors with a 14mm top and a 14mm bottom adapter. Check your current injectors, or ask your engine builder, before ordering this configuration.

Is this set of three flow matched?

Yes. Injector Dynamics flow matches the three injectors as a set, and any single replacement is supplied through Injector Dynamics to protect that match. The warranty covers manufacturer defects for one year from purchase, conditional on correct fuel and proper filtration.

Why does the set have a bottom adapter?

The black 14mm bottom adapter is part of the configuration this part number provides, fitted to the lower end of the 48mm body before the set ships. It suits engines whose intake is designed for the bottom adapter layout, so compare it with your current injectors before ordering.

Can the ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors run methanol?

Yes. The ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors are rated for methanol, ethanol, MTBE, nitromethane and all known hydrocarbon fuels. Methanol needs much more fuel volume than gasoline, so check that three injectors at 1728cc per minute give enough margin for your power target.

Yes. The engine management must be calibrated with the Injector Dynamics data for the 1750, which covers flow, offset and short pulse behavior. The offset alone is 1169 microseconds at 43.5 psi and 12 volts, and getting it wrong upsets fueling at idle and part throttle.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 14mm Bottom Adapter, Set of 3

Injector Dynamics’ ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors are supplied here as a set of three, each with a 14mm top adapter and a black 14mm bottom adapter on the 48mm body. Injector Dynamics publishes no vehicle list for this part number, so it is a set for builders who have confirmed their engine needs three 48mm injectors in this configuration. Each injector flows 1728cc/min at 3.0 bar, which is a great deal of fuel for three cylinders; it suits a high-output engine on ethanol and makes little sense for a mild build.

Configuration

Each 48mm body has a 14mm top adapter and a black 14mm bottom adapter fitted. With no published application list, compare the length and both seal sizes with the injectors coming out.

Features

Three 48mm injectors with 14mm tops and black 14mm bottom adapters
1728cc/min nominal flow at 3.0 bar
Rated for ethanol, methanol, MTBE, nitromethane and gasoline
Characterization data published for tuning

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1728cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), E10 certification fuel at 49C (120F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 7.0 bar (101.5 psi)
Offset at 43.5 psi: 1169 microseconds at 12 volts
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 48mm

Lower: 14mm bottom adapter (black)

What’s Included

ID1750-XDS fuel injectors with 14mm top and bottom adapters fitted (x3)

Applications

Injector Dynamics does not publish a vehicle list for this configuration; it fits fuel systems built for a 48mm injector with a 14mm top and a 14mm bottom adapter.

Notes

USCAR connectors are fitted; for Denso wiring add the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter, and EV1 or OBD2 adapters come from Injector Dynamics
No vehicle list is published for these ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors; confirm the configuration against your engine before ordering
An ECU recalibration with the Injector Dynamics characterization data is required

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
