Which engines take this configuration?

Injector Dynamics does not publish a vehicle list for the 34mm body with a 15mm lower O-ring as a set of four. It suits fuel systems built for that injector length and seal size, such as custom rails and manifolds. Measure your bores and injector length, or send us the details and we will confirm.

Can I use the ID2600-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors in a 14mm lower bore?

No. The ID2600-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors in this set use a 15mm lower O-ring, which will not seal in a 14mm bore. Injector Dynamics offers the same 34mm body with a 14mm lower O-ring for that case, so match the lower seal to the manifold or adapter you are using.

Do I have to tune the engine after installing these?

Yes. The 2600 flows far more than any factory injector and has its own offset and short pulse curve. Injector Dynamics publishes the full characterization data, including a 605 microsecond offset at 43.5 psi and 12 volts, and your tuner uses it to set accurate fueling.

Is the 2600 a good choice for a gasoline four cylinder?

No, usually not. On gasoline, a four cylinder at moderate power will run these injectors at very short pulse widths. They stay consistent there, but the 1300 or 1750 class leaves more margin at idle. The 2600 earns its place on high boost builds burning E85 or methanol.

Is the set covered by a warranty?

Yes. Injector Dynamics covers the set for one year from purchase against manufacturer defects, as long as correct fuel and proper filtration are used. The four injectors are flow matched, so any single replacement is made through Injector Dynamics, which also cleans and flow tests injectors in Arizona.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID2600-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 15mm Lower O-Rings, Set of 4

Injector Dynamics’ ID2600-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors in this four-piece set pair the short 34mm body with a 14mm top O-ring and an orange 15mm lower O-ring, the lower seal size Injector Dynamics specifies for many GM V8 engines. Injector Dynamics publishes no vehicle list for a set of four in this configuration, so it suits custom and swapped fuel systems built around these seals and this length. At 2600cc/min per injector, four of them support a large-turbo four-cylinder on E85 or methanol; on gasoline at moderate power they are oversized.

Choosing This Configuration

This set needs a fuel system built for a 34mm injector with no top adapter, a 14mm top O-ring and a 15mm lower bore. The ID2600-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors are also offered with a 14mm lower O-ring if your bores are smaller.

Features

Built with Bosch Motorsport around corrosion-resistant internals for liquid fuels
Matched by Dual Slope Matching so short pulse widths stay consistent from injector to injector
Handles up to 9.0 bar of differential fuel pressure

Specifications

Nominal flow: 2600cc/min
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 9.0 bar (130.5 psi)
Minimum voltage: 11 volts
Fuel compatibility: Methanol, ethanol, all known hydrocarbons; not ethers or nitromethane
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 34mm
Top: 14mm O-ring, no top adapter
Lower: 15mm O-ring (orange)

What’s Included

ID2600-XDS fuel injectors with 14mm top and 15mm lower O-rings (x4)

Applications

Injector Dynamics does not publish a vehicle list for this configuration; it fits fuel systems built for a 34mm injector with a 14mm top O-ring and a 15mm lower O-ring.

Notes

The injectors carry USCAR plugs, so an engine wired for Denso connectors needs the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter, while EV1 and OBD2 Honda wiring takes adapters sold separately
The orange 15mm lower O-ring will not seal in a 14mm bore, so check the manifold or adapter before fitting
Fit only with a tuner ready to recalibrate the ECU from the published Injector Dynamics characterization data

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
