Will this set bolt into a stock 2012-2015 Civic Si?

Yes, mechanically. Injector Dynamics codes the set 07.21 for the 2012 to 2015 Civic Si, with the 48mm body and 14mm top that application uses. Electrically the injectors use USCAR connectors, so factory wiring needs the Injector Dynamics USCAR to 2012 and newer Honda adapter.

Does the ID1300-XDS Fuel Injector Set make sense on a naturally aspirated Si?

No. The ID1300-XDS Fuel Injector Set flows about 1335cc per minute per injector, well beyond the needs of an unboosted Civic Si on gasoline. It is meant for forced induction, an E85 conversion or both, where the factory injectors run out of capacity and the extra flow gives the tuner room to work.

How do I choose between the 1300, 1750 and 2600 versions for the Civic Si?

Base the choice on fuel and target power. The ID1300-XDS is the smallest of the three and keeps gasoline idle simple. The ID1750-XDS flows 1728cc per minute, and the ID2600-XDS flows 2600cc per minute nominal for the largest alcohol builds. Your tuner can confirm which class matches the fuel pump and power goal.

Can the car run E85 on these injectors?

Yes. The ID1300-XDS was designed specifically for alternative fuels and is rated for all known fuels, including E85 and methanol. Ethanol needs roughly a third more fuel volume than gasoline for the same power, so the fuel pump and calibration must be sized for it.

How long is the warranty on these injectors?

One year from purchase, against manufacturer defects. Cover depends on the correct fuel and proper filtration, so fit a fresh filter at installation. As the injectors are flow matched, Injector Dynamics supplies any single replacement and can clean, inspect and flow test used injectors in Arizona.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1300-XDS Fuel Injector Set for 2012-2015 Honda Civic Si

Injector Dynamics’ ID1300-XDS Fuel Injector Set for the 2012-2015 Honda Civic Si is four 1335cc/min injectors on a 48mm body with a grey 14mm top adapter, built under the 07.21 application code for this car. A naturally aspirated Si does not need anywhere near this much fuel; the set is aimed at a Civic Si with a turbo or supercharger kit, or one being converted to E85. Injector Dynamics designed the 1300 for alternative fuels, but its minimum fuel mass stays compatible with gasoline, so idle quality on pump fuel holds up.

Configuration

The 07.21 in the part number is the Injector Dynamics code for the 2012-2015 Civic Si, followed by the 48mm body length and the 14mm top. Injector Dynamics offers the same application in the ID1750-XDS and ID2600-XDS flow classes.

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
