Will the ID1300-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors handle E85 on a boosted five-cylinder?

Yes. Five ID1300-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors, each flowing 1335cc per minute on iso-octane at 3.0 bar and rated for all known fuels, suit a turbocharged five on E85. The maximum differential pressure is 7.0 bar, so keep that in mind if fuel pressure rises with boost.

Does this set fit a Ford Focus RS?

Not confirmed. Injector Dynamics does not list this five injector set for a vehicle, and its table lists the Focus RS only with a four injector 60mm set. If you are fitting a five-cylinder Focus RS, confirm length and seal sizes with Injector Dynamics before ordering.

Will my five-cylinder need a fresh calibration?

Yes. Fuel per pulse changes substantially with five injectors of this size, and the ID1300-XDS carries its own offset and short pulse characteristics. Injector Dynamics provides characterization data for the tuner, and the calibration should be complete before the engine runs under boost.

Will this set fit an Audi RS3 or TT RS?

No. Injector Dynamics lists the Audi RS3 and TT RS five-cylinder with a 34mm injector, a 14mm top and a 14mm lower O-ring in a set of five. This set uses the longer 60mm body, so it suits a different fuel system even though the injector count is the same.

Are the five injectors matched as a group?

Yes. Injector Dynamics flow matches the five as a set, and any single replacement is supplied through Injector Dynamics to keep them consistent. The warranty covers manufacturer defects for one year from purchase, as long as the injectors run the correct fuel with proper filtration.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1300-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 14mm Lower O-Ring, Set of 5

Injector Dynamics’ ID1300-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in a set of five are the odd count in the range, aimed at five-cylinder engines whose rails take a 60mm injector with a 14mm top and a 14mm lower O-ring. Injector Dynamics does not attach a vehicle list to this part number, so fitment depends on matching length and both seals to the injectors you have now. Each ID1300-XDS flows 1335cc/min at 3.0 bar on iso-octane with stainless internals designed for alcohol fuels, a good match for a turbocharged five on E85. The Audi RS3 and TT RS five-cylinder appears in Injector Dynamics’ table with a 34mm injector, so it needs a different set.

Configuration

The part number spells out a 60mm body, a 14mm top, a 14mm lower O-ring and a count of five. Measure the injector you are replacing and confirm both seal sizes, since no factory application is attached to this exact set.

Features

Flow matched as a set of 5
Designed specifically for alternative fuels and compatible with all known fuels
All-stainless internals, once unique among performance injectors
14mm top and 14mm lower O-ring on the 60mm body, five injectors to the set

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1335cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), iso-octane at 52C (125F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 7.0 bar (101.5 psi)
Fuel compatibility: All known fuels
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 60mm
Top: 14mm adapter
Lower: 14mm O-ring

What’s Included

ID1300-XDS fuel injectors with 14mm top adapters and 14mm lower O-rings (x5)

Applications

Injector Dynamics does not publish a vehicle list for this configuration; it fits fuel systems built for a 60mm injector with a 14mm top and a 14mm lower O-ring.

Notes

Engines already wired for USCAR plug straight in; factory Denso plugs need the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter, and EV1 or OBD2 wiring needs the matching Injector Dynamics adapter
The engine management must be recalibrated for the new flow and offset data after fitting
Injector Dynamics publishes no vehicle list for this five-injector part, so confirm length and seal sizes before ordering

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
