Do the ID1750-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors suit a 1UZ engine swap?

Yes, where the swap keeps the SC400 rail and manifold. Injector Dynamics lists the ID1750-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for the Lexus SC400, so a 1UZ using those parts takes the 11mm top and Denso cushion. If the swap uses a different rail, measure the top and lower seals first.

Is this set worth it on a naturally aspirated SC400?

No. At 1728cc per minute each, the eight injectors are sized for boost or ethanol, and a naturally aspirated SC400 cannot use that flow. Choose this set when the engine is getting a turbocharger or supercharger, a larger fuel pump and a new calibration at the same time.

Can a boosted SC400 keep its factory calibration with these?

No. Eight injectors at 1728cc per minute flow far more than the factory 1UZ parts, and the stock calibration would run very rich. The tuner needs the Injector Dynamics characterization data to set offset and short pulse fueling, ideally in the same session as the boost and timing work for the turbo or supercharger.

Which fuels can a turbo 1UZ use with this set?

Pump gasoline, race gasoline, E85, methanol, MTBE, nitromethane and any other known hydrocarbon fuel, according to Injector Dynamics. Whatever the fuel, keep filtration up to standard on the SC400 fuel system, because the one year warranty is conditional on correct fuel and proper filtration.

Do the injectors plug into the SC400 wiring as delivered?

Yes, if the wiring has USCAR plugs; otherwise an adapter is needed. Injector Dynamics makes plug and play adapters for Denso, EV1, OBD2 Honda and 2012 and newer Honda wiring, sold separately. Check the SC400 injector plug and order eight adapters of the correct type along with the injectors.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1750-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with 11mm Top and Denso Lower Cushion, Set of 8

Injector Dynamics’ ID1750-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in this eight-injector set combine a blue 11mm top adapter with a Denso lower cushion, and the vehicle Injector Dynamics names for it is the Lexus SC400. Eight injectors at 1728cc/min each give a turbocharged or supercharged 1UZ V8 plenty of fuel for E85 or high boost. A naturally aspirated SC400 has no use for this much flow. The set is for the owner rebuilding the engine around forced induction, with a fuel pump and calibration to match.

Configuration

The Denso lower cushion is the same seal Injector Dynamics uses on its Denso-seat Toyota and Mitsubishi configurations, here on a 60mm body with an 11mm top. Other engines with the same rail and manifold dimensions can use the set, but the SC400 is the only listed vehicle.

Features

Eight blue 11mm top adapters paired with Denso lower cushions
Successor to the ID1700, adding dynamic flow with no increase in minimum fuel mass
Improved pressure sensitivity compared with the ID1700

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1728cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), E10 certification fuel at 49C (120F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 7.0 bar (101.5 psi)
Offset: 1169 microseconds at 43.5 psi and 12 volts
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 60mm
Top: 11mm adapter (blue)
Lower: Denso lower cushion

What’s Included

ID1750-XDS fuel injectors with blue 11mm top adapters and Denso lower cushions (x8)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID1750-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

Lexus SC400

Notes

The SC400 is the only vehicle Injector Dynamics lists for this eight-injector configuration; confirm dimensions on any other engine
USCAR connectors are fitted; Denso, EV1 and OBD2 Honda wiring needs plug-and-play adapters, sold separately; for Denso plugs see the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter
The engine must be recalibrated with the Injector Dynamics characterization data before it is driven

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
