Will the ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors fit my LS1?

No. Injector Dynamics lists the ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors with the 15mm lower O-ring for LS2 engines, including the 2005 and 2006 Pontiac GTO and the LS2 Holden Commodore VZ and Monaro. The LS1 and LS6 call for a 60mm body with a 14mm lower O-ring, which is a different part number.

Why does this set use a 15mm lower O-ring?

The lower O-ring has to match the bore in the intake manifold, and Injector Dynamics specifies the 15mm seal for the LS2 applications in its fitment table. The wrong lower seal size risks a fuel or vacuum leak at the manifold, so match the seal to the engine before installing.

Will my LS2 run on the old calibration after the swap?

No. Each injector flows 1728cc per minute, far beyond the stock LS2 injectors, so the existing calibration would flood the engine. Have the tuner load the Injector Dynamics characterization data for the 1750 when the injectors go in, so idle and transient fueling are right from the first start.

Is the 1300 or the 1750 the better choice for a boosted LS2?

It comes down to fuel demand. The ID1300-XDS flows about 1335cc per minute and was designed around alternative fuels; the ID1750-XDS flows 1728cc per minute. Both carry a 7 bar rating, so a supercharged LS2 on E85 that would push a 1300 to its limit is where the 1750 belongs.

What warranty applies to this LS2 set?

Injector Dynamics covers manufacturer defects for one year from purchase, as long as the injectors run the correct fuel with proper filtration. The eight are flow matched, so any single replacement is handled by Injector Dynamics, which also offers cleaning, inspection and flow testing in Arizona for an LS2 set later in its life.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 15mm Lower O-Ring, Set of 8

Injector Dynamics’ ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors for LS2 engines come as a set of eight with a 14mm top and an orange 15mm lower O-ring, the seal size Injector Dynamics specifies for the LS2. At 1728cc/min each, measured at 3.0 bar on E10 test fuel, they suit an LS2 running a supercharger, a turbo or E85, where the factory injectors run out first. A stock or lightly modified LS2 on pump fuel has no need for this much injector.

Configuration

LS engines differ at the injector. Injector Dynamics lists this 48mm, 15mm lower configuration for the LS2, while the LS1 and LS6 appear under a 60mm body with a 14mm lower O-ring. Compare the length and lower seal of your current injectors before ordering.

Features

Orange 15mm lower O-rings sized for the LS2
Rated for methanol, ethanol, MTBE, nitromethane and all known hydrocarbon fuels
Offset published at 1169 microseconds at 43.5 psi and 12 volts

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1728cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), E10 certification fuel at 49C (120F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 7.0 bar (101.5 psi)
Offset: 1169 microseconds at 43.5 psi and 12 volts
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 48mm
Top: 14mm adapter
Lower: 15mm O-ring (orange)

What’s Included

ID1750-XDS fuel injectors with 14mm top adapters and orange 15mm lower O-rings (x8)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

Chevrolet: LS2
Holden Commodore: VZ | LS2
Holden Monaro: LS2
Pontiac GTO: 2005-2006 | LS2

Notes

The 15mm lower O-ring is specific to the LS2 listing; LS1 and LS6 engines take the 60mm version with a 14mm lower O-ring
The injectors use USCAR plugs, so engines with Denso, EV1 or Honda OBD2 connectors need plug-and-play adapters, which are not included; the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter covers Denso wiring
Plan a tune alongside the install, since the calibration needs the published Injector Dynamics flow and offset data

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
