Do the ID1300-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors work in a flex fuel Viper or SRT-10?

Yes. The ID1300-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors were designed for alternative fuels yet keep a minimum fuel mass suited to gasoline, so a flex fuel V10 can run anything from pump gas to E85 with good idle control. The calibration needs an ethanol content sensor and the Injector Dynamics data.

Does this set fit the Ram SRT-10 truck?

Yes. Injector Dynamics lists the 2004-2006 Ram SRT-10 alongside the 2003-2007 Viper for this ten injector configuration, a 60mm body with a 14mm top and 14mm lower O-ring. Both engines use ten injectors, so one set covers the truck, and the same calibration rules apply as on the Viper.

Can a 2003-2007 Viper be driven on the stock calibration after fitting?

No. Ten injectors at 1335cc per minute deliver much more fuel per pulse than the factory V10 injectors, so the unchanged calibration would run rich. Load the Injector Dynamics flow and offset characterization data into the tune before the car or truck is driven.

Why does a 2008 Viper need a different set?

Injector Dynamics lists the 2008-2010 Viper with a 48mm injector and 14B bottom adapter, and the 2013-2017 car with the 14V bottom adapter. The 2003-2007 engine takes the longer 60mm body with a plain 14mm lower O-ring, so the parts are not interchangeable even though all three are sets of ten.

Can this set be cleaned and flow tested in the future?

Yes. Injector Dynamics offers a cleaning, inspection and flow test service in Arizona, useful if a Viper or SRT-10 sits for long periods or the fuel system gets contaminated. New injectors carry a one year warranty from purchase against manufacturer defects, conditional on correct fuel and proper filtration.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1300-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 14mm Lower O-Ring, Set of 10

Injector Dynamics’ ID1300-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors cover all ten cylinders in this set, with a purple 14mm top and a 14mm lower O-ring, the configuration Injector Dynamics lists for the 2003-2007 Dodge Viper and the 2004-2006 Ram SRT-10. Each ID1300-XDS flows 1335cc/min at 3.0 bar on iso-octane, so ten of them give a supercharged or twin-turbo V10 on E85 a wide margin. The injector was conceived for alternative fuels, with stainless internals, yet keeps a minimum fuel mass that idles cleanly on gasoline. A stock Viper or SRT-10 on pump gas runs fine on factory injectors and has no need for this set.

Configuration

This is the 60mm body with a plain 14mm lower O-ring and no bottom adapter, ten injectors per set. Later Vipers use the 48mm body with bottom adapters, so this set is specific to the 2003-2007 car and the SRT-10 truck.

Features

Flow matched as a set of 10
Designed specifically for alternative fuels and compatible with all known fuels
Compact body shared across more than 200 applications
Purple 14mm top adapter and 14mm lower O-ring on the 60mm body

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1335cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), iso-octane at 52C (125F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 7.0 bar (101.5 psi)
Fuel compatibility: All known fuels
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 60mm
Top: 14mm adapter (purple)
Lower: 14mm O-ring

What’s Included

ID1300-XDS fuel injectors with purple 14mm top adapters and 14mm lower O-rings (x10)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID1300-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

Dodge Ram SRT-10: 2004-2006
Dodge Viper: 2003-2007

Notes

USCAR plugs are fitted, so Denso, EV1 or OBD2 wiring needs adapters, sold separately; for Denso plugs use the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter
The engine management must be recalibrated for the new flow and offset data after fitting
Specific to the 2003-2007 Viper and 2004-2006 Ram SRT-10; 2008 and later Vipers use 48mm sets with bottom adapters

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. In short, prices may change without notice. It is always advised to give us a call prior to placing your order online to confirm availability and to confirm current pricing.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
