Which car is the PU set made for?

Injector Dynamics lists this PU part number for the Ford Falcon GT and GS 5.0 from 2010 on. The Mustang GT, Shelby GT500 and F-150 5.0 appear in its catalogue under different 60mm part numbers, so check the full part number against your vehicle rather than ordering by body length alone.

Do the ID1050-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors need a tune on the Falcon?

Yes. The ID1050-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors flow 1065cc per minute each, well beyond the factory injectors, and the engine management needs the Injector Dynamics flow, offset and short pulse data to fuel correctly. Plan the injectors and the calibration as one job on the Falcon GT or GS.

Will this set run on E85?

Yes. Injector Dynamics rates the ID1050-XDS for all known fuels, with corrosion resistant internals intended for long service on ethanol. E85 needs roughly a third more fuel volume than gasoline for the same power, so confirm that eight injectors at this flow rate cover the target before switching fuel.

What connector do these injectors use?

They use USCAR connectors. Engines wired with USCAR plugs connect directly, while Denso, EV1 or OBD2 wiring needs the matching Injector Dynamics plug and play adapter. Confirm the plug on your injector wiring before installation day so the car is not left waiting on parts.

What warranty does Injector Dynamics give?

Injector Dynamics warrants these injectors for one year from purchase against manufacturer defects, provided they run the correct fuel with proper filtration. The eight are flow matched, so a single replacement is arranged through Injector Dynamics, which also offers cleaning and flow testing at its Arizona facility.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1050-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors for Ford Falcon GT and GS 5.0, Set of 8

Injector Dynamics’ ID1050-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in this PU set are the version the company lists for the Ford Falcon GT and GS 5.0 from 2010 on, eight injectors flowing 1065cc/min each on a 60mm body with 14mm top and bottom adapters. The PU suffix is what separates this Falcon set from the 60mm sets Injector Dynamics lists for the Mustang and F-150, so order by part number rather than by length alone. The 1050 suits a supercharged 5.0 being pushed past its factory fuel supply on gasoline or a moderate ethanol blend.

Configuration

Injector Dynamics lists the PU part number only for the Falcon GT and GS 5.0, at a higher price than its plain 60mm sets, and Turn 14 supplies it with a 14mm top adapter and a 14mm bottom adapter on each injector. Confirm the part number against the Falcon before ordering, because the Mustang and F-150 5.0 sets use different suffixes.

Features

Flow matched as a set of eight, with characterization data published for the calibration
Developed with Bosch Motorsport and built to Injector Dynamics specification rather than adapted from a production part
Corrosion-resistant internals rated for gasoline, ethanol, methanol and every other known fuel
Stable operation up to 10 bar differential pressure

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1065cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), gasoline at 52C (125F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 10.0 bar (145 psi)
Fuel compatibility: All known fuels
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 60mm
Top: 14mm adapter
Lower: 14mm bottom adapter

What’s Included

ID1050-XDS fuel injectors with 14mm top adapters and 14mm bottom adapters (x8)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID1050-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in this PU configuration for:

Ford Falcon GT and GS: 2010+ | 5.0L V8

Notes

Listed by Injector Dynamics for the Falcon GT and GS 5.0 only; Mustang and F-150 5.0 owners should order the set listed for their vehicle
The injectors use USCAR connectors; for Denso wiring see the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter, and EV1 or OBD2 adapters are sold separately
An ECU recalibration is required after fitting, using the Injector Dynamics characterization data

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
