Should a Hellcat owner choose the ID1050-XDS or ID1300-XDS?

Base it on fuel and pressure. The ID1300-XDS flows about 1335cc per minute and was designed for alternative fuels, so it suits a pulley or E85 build that has outrun the 1050. The ID1050-XDS flows 1065cc per minute and tolerates 10 bar differential pressure against 7 bar for the 1300, which matters on high pressure systems.

Do the ID1300-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors fit the E92 M3 without modification?

Yes, mechanically. Injector Dynamics lists the ID1300-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for the E90, E92 and E93 M3 from 2007. The USCAR connector may need plug and play adapters depending on the wiring, and the engine management must be recalibrated with the Injector Dynamics data before driving.

What does the 7 bar pressure rating mean for a supercharged V8?

It is the maximum differential pressure, meaning fuel pressure minus manifold pressure, that the ID1300-XDS is rated to handle. Check your base pressure and regulator, since high base pressure or a rising rate regulator can push past it under boost. In that case the ID1050-XDS, rated to 10 bar, is the safer choice.

Is tuning required on the HEMI or GT500?

Yes. Either engine needs the Injector Dynamics characterization data for the ID1300-XDS loaded in place of the factory injector values, covering flow, offset and short pulse behavior. A pulley change or E85 conversion that prompted the upgrade is calibrated at the same time, so plan one tuning session for both.

Are eight injectors matched as one set?

Yes. Injector Dynamics flow matches all eight together so both banks receive equal fuel. Single replacements are supplied by Injector Dynamics to keep that match. The warranty covers manufacturer defects for one year from purchase, conditional on the correct fuel and proper filtration.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1300-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 14mm Lower O-Ring, Set of 8

Injector Dynamics’ ID1300-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in this set of eight combine grey 14mm top adapters and 14mm lower O-rings, the V8 configuration Injector Dynamics lists for the E90, E92 and E93 BMW M3, the supercharged 6.2L HEMI in the Hellcat, Demon and Trackhawk, the 2007-2014 Shelby GT500 and the Nissan Titan. At 1335cc/min per injector, it gives a supercharged or ethanol V8 more fuel capacity than the 1050 in the same layout. The 1300’s design centers on alternative fuels, yet idle on gasoline stays clean. Where the fuel system runs above 7 bar differential, the ID1050-XDS is the safer pick.

Configuration

This set shares its 48mm body, grey 14mm top adapter and 14mm lower O-ring with the eight-injector ID1050-XDS set. The difference lies in flow rating and pressure limit: 1335cc/min and 7.0 bar here, against 1065cc/min and 10.0 bar for the 1050.

Features

Compatible with all known fuels, with a design aimed at ethanol and methanol
Minimum fuel mass kept compatible with gasoline, for steady idle and cruise on pump fuel
Flow matched as a set of eight, with characterization data for the calibration

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1335cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), iso-octane at 52C (125F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 7.0 bar (101.5 psi)
Fuel compatibility: All known fuels; designed specifically for alternative fuels
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 48mm
Top: 14mm adapter (grey)
Lower: 14mm O-ring

What’s Included

ID1300-XDS fuel injectors with grey 14mm top adapters fitted (x8)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID1300-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

BMW M3: E90 / E92 / E93 | 2007+
Dodge Hellcat, Demon and Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk: Supercharged 6.2L HEMI V8
Ford Mustang Shelby GT500: 2007-2014
Nissan Titan: 2004+

Notes

Plug-and-play adapters are not part of this set; USCAR wiring connects directly, and Denso wiring takes the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter
An ECU recalibration is required after fitting, using the Injector Dynamics characterization data

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
