Does this set fit the 370Z or G37?

No. Injector Dynamics lists the 370Z and G37 with a 48mm set that uses a 14mm lower O-ring with the GT-R lower spacer. This set, without the spacer, is listed for the 350Z and G35. Check which car and engine you have before ordering.

Will these fit a non-turbo Porsche 996?

No. Injector Dynamics lists this 48mm configuration for the 996 and 997.1 Turbo only. The naturally aspirated 996 and 997.1 are listed with a 60mm injector, so the body length is wrong for those cars. Confirm the model before ordering.

Can the ID1300-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors take an E46 M3 to E85?

Yes. The ID1300-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors were designed for alternative fuels and are compatible with all known fuels. A supercharged or turbocharged E46 M3 on E85 needs roughly a third more fuel volume than on gasoline, so plan the pump and calibration together, starting from the Injector Dynamics characterization data.

How much tuning do these injectors need?

At minimum, the injector model in the engine management must be replaced with the Injector Dynamics characterization data for the ID1300-XDS, covering flow, offset and short pulse behavior. Any boost or fuel change made alongside needs fuel and ignition tuning as well, ideally in the same session.

Does Injector Dynamics service these injectors?

Yes. Injector Dynamics offers cleaning, inspection and flow testing at its Arizona facility, and it supplies single replacements for its flow matched sets. In the first year, its warranty covers manufacturer defects, provided the injectors run the correct fuel with proper filtration.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1300-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 14mm Lower O-Ring, Set of 6

Injector Dynamics’ ID1300-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in this set of six use a grey 14mm top adapter and a 14mm lower O-ring, the configuration Injector Dynamics lists for the E46 M3, the Nissan 350Z and Infiniti G35, the Nissan Patrol and the Porsche 996 and 997.1 Turbo. With 1335cc/min per injector, the set suits forced-induction builds and E85 conversions on these sixes. Its minimum fuel mass is compatible with gasoline, keeping idle and cruise clean for cars that still see daily use. On an unboosted engine running pump fuel, the factory injectors remain the better match.

Configuration

The grey 14mm top adapter comes fitted on each 48mm body, and a 14mm O-ring seals the lower end. The 370Z and G37 are listed with a different lower setup that adds the GT-R spacer, so they do not use this set.

Features

Rated for every known fuel and designed specifically around alternative fuels such as E85 and methanol
Gasoline-compatible minimum fuel mass, so part-throttle fueling stays controllable
Compact body that Injector Dynamics configures for more than 200 applications
Flow matched as a set of six, with characterization data for the calibration

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1335cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), iso-octane at 52C (125F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 7.0 bar (101.5 psi)
Fuel compatibility: All known fuels; designed specifically for alternative fuels
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 48mm
Top: 14mm adapter (grey)
Lower: 14mm O-ring

What’s Included

ID1300-XDS fuel injectors with grey 14mm top adapters fitted (x6)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID1300-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

BMW M3: E46 | 2001-2006
Infiniti: G35
Nissan: 350Z, Patrol
Porsche 911 Turbo: 996 and 997.1

Notes

The injectors use USCAR plugs; for factory Denso connectors add the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter, while EV1 and OBD2 adapters are available from Injector Dynamics
Book the calibration with the install, because the ECU cannot run these injectors correctly on factory injector data
The 370Z and G37 use a version with the GT-R lower spacer, and the naturally aspirated 996 and 997.1 use 60mm injectors

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
