Are the ID1750-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors right for a 2JZ-GTE Supra?

Yes, for an 11mm top rail. Injector Dynamics lists the ID1750-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for the 1993 through 1998 Supra Turbo and the 1990 through 1996 300ZX Twin Turbo. Rails that take a 14mm top need the 14mm version, which uses the same flow class and body length.

Should a 2JZ-GTE build use the 1750 or the 2600?

The ID1750-XDS flows 1728cc per minute and is rated to 7 bar. The ID2600-XDS flows about 2600cc per minute and is rated to 9 bar, but it needs at least 11 volts and is not compatible with ethers or nitromethane. Choose the 2600 only when your fuel demand has clearly outgrown the 1750.

Does a 2JZ-GTE or 300ZX need a tune with this set?

Yes. The engine management meters fuel from injector flow and offset, and six injectors at 1728cc per minute are far larger than factory. Injector Dynamics publishes the characterization data, including a 1169 microsecond offset at 43.5 psi and 12 volts, for the tuner to load on the Supra or 300ZX before the first drive.

Will a big turbo Supra idle cleanly on gasoline with these?

Yes, once calibrated. Injector Dynamics raised dynamic flow over the ID1700 without increasing minimum fuel mass, and tightened cylinder balance at low pulsewidths. Those changes are what let six large injectors hold a steady idle and smooth light cruise on a 2JZ-GTE or 300ZX Twin Turbo running pump gasoline.

Is a single injector available if one in the six fails?

Yes, from Injector Dynamics rather than as a loose part off the shelf. The six are flow matched, so Injector Dynamics supplies a replacement that keeps the Supra or 300ZX set balanced. Manufacturer defects are covered for one year from purchase, provided the injectors have run correct fuel with proper filtration.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1750-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with 11mm Top and 14mm Lower O-Ring, Set of 6

Injector Dynamics’ ID1750-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors are sold here as six with a blue 11mm top adapter and a 14mm lower O-ring, which Injector Dynamics lists for the 1993-1998 Supra Turbo and the 1990-1996 300ZX Twin Turbo. On a 2JZ-GTE with a single large turbo, 1728cc/min per injector covers a lot of ground on gasoline and still leaves room for E85. A Supra or 300ZX kept near stock boost will not need anything like this flow. This set is for owners who have already decided on a big turbo, a fuel system upgrade and a new calibration.

Configuration

Both cars also appear in Injector Dynamics’ table with a 14mm top, so the 11mm top here suits engines whose rail takes the smaller seal. The 60mm body length and 14mm lower O-ring are common to both versions.

Features

Blue 11mm top adapters for six-cylinder rails built for the smaller seal
Better cylinder-to-cylinder balance at low pulsewidths for steadier idle and light cruise
Improved pressure sensitivity compared with the ID1700

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1728cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), E10 certification fuel at 49C (120F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 7.0 bar (101.5 psi)
Offset: 1169 microseconds at 43.5 psi and 12 volts
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 60mm
Top: 11mm adapter (blue)
Lower: 14mm O-ring

What’s Included

ID1750-XDS fuel injectors with blue 11mm top adapters and 14mm lower O-rings (x6)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID1750-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo: 1990-1996
Toyota Supra Turbo: 1993-1998 | 2JZ-GTE

Notes

The Supra Turbo and 300ZX Twin Turbo are also listed with a 14mm top; confirm which size your fuel rail uses
USCAR connectors are fitted; Denso, EV1 and OBD2 Honda wiring needs plug-and-play adapters, sold separately; for Denso plugs see the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter
The engine must be recalibrated with the Injector Dynamics characterization data before it is driven

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
