Will this set fit an LS1 or LS2?

No. Injector Dynamics lists 60mm injectors for the LS1 and LS6 and a 48mm set with 15mm lower O-rings for the LS2. This 34mm set is for the later engines, including the LS3, LS7, L76, L92, L99, LSA and LS9. Confirm your engine code before ordering.

Why do these injectors have an orange lower O-ring?

Orange marks the 15mm lower O-ring, the size the later GM engines use at the manifold end. The top seals with a 14mm O-ring directly in the rail, with no adapter. Using the correct seal at each end keeps the injector secure and leak free in the factory bores.

Do the ID1300-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors suit a supercharged LSA on E85?

Yes. The ID1300-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors were designed for alternative fuels, and E85 needs roughly a third more fuel volume than gasoline, which is the situation where a boosted LSA or LS9 needs more injector. The pump and calibration must be upgraded alongside the injectors.

Can my tuner run these on the factory GM engine computer?

Usually, if the tuning software allows injector flow, offset and short pulse values to be entered. Injector Dynamics publishes characterization data for the ID1300-XDS, and loading it is the first step before boost or ethanol tuning. Confirm with your tuner that your platform and software support it.

Which electrical connector do these injectors use?

USCAR. Engines wired with USCAR plugs connect directly, while Denso, EV1 and Honda OBD2 wiring needs an Injector Dynamics plug and play adapter for each injector. The adapters are sold separately. The Denso version is linked in the notes on this page, and the others are available from Injector Dynamics.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1300-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 15mm Lower O-Rings, Set of 8

Injector Dynamics’ ID1300-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors in this set of eight combine the short 34mm body with a 14mm top O-ring and an orange 15mm lower O-ring, the configuration Injector Dynamics lists for later GM small blocks such as the LS3, LS7, LS9 and the supercharged LSA. At 1335cc/min per injector, the set fits a supercharged or turbocharged V8 and E85 conversions, where demand moves beyond the factory injectors. Designed for alternative fuels with a minimum fuel mass that suits gasoline, it keeps idle and cruise civil on pump fuel. A naturally aspirated LS3 with bolt-ons has no use for it.

Configuration

This GM layout pairs a 34mm body with no top adapter and a 15mm lower seal, unlike the 48mm LS2 and 60mm LS1 sets. Check the engine code before ordering, because these GM generations do not share injector length.

Features

Rated for every known fuel and designed specifically around alternative fuels such as E85 and methanol
Minimum fuel mass kept compatible with gasoline, for steady idle and cruise on pump fuel
Flow matched as a set of eight, with characterization data for the calibration

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1335cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), iso-octane at 52C (125F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 7.0 bar (101.5 psi)
Fuel compatibility: All known fuels; designed specifically for alternative fuels
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 34mm
Top: 14mm O-ring, no adapter
Lower: 15mm O-ring (orange)

What’s Included

ID1300-XDS fuel injectors with 14mm top and 15mm lower O-rings (x8)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID1300-XDS 34mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

Cadillac CTS-V: 2009-2014 | LSA
Chevrolet Camaro: 2010-2015 LS3, ZL1 LSA
Chevrolet Corvette: C6, including Z06 LS7 and ZR1 LS9
Chevrolet engines: LS3, LS7, L76, L92, L99
Holden Commodore: W427, E-HSV
Pontiac G8: GT, GXP

Notes

Wiring with Denso plugs needs the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter or an equivalent, because every injector here has a USCAR connector
The engine management must be recalibrated with the Injector Dynamics characterization data before the car is driven

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
