Do the ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors fit a 2013 Genesis 2.0t?

No. Injector Dynamics lists the ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors with the R35 lower spacer for the 2009 through 2012 Genesis 2.0t only. The 2013 and 2014 cars appear in its table under a 60mm body with a 14mm top and 14mm lower O-ring, so order that configuration for a later car.

Why is there a spacer at the bottom of each injector?

The spacer comes from the Nissan GT-R installation and is what the R35 in the part number refers to. Injector Dynamics specifies the same 14mm lower O-ring and spacer arrangement for the early Genesis 2.0t so the compact 48mm body sits where the factory injector did. Leave it in place when installing.

Can a Genesis 2.0t with this set run flex fuel?

Yes. The 1750 handles gasoline, ethanol blends through E85, methanol, MTBE and nitromethane. For flex fuel on the Genesis 2.0t you also need an ethanol content sensor and a calibration that blends between fuel types, which your tuner sets up together with the Injector Dynamics data for these four injectors.

What data does a Genesis tuner need for these injectors?

The Injector Dynamics characterization data for the ID1750-XDS. It covers flow, offset and short pulse width behaviour across voltage and pressure, so the tuner can model the four injectors accurately on the 2.0 liter turbo engine and spend the session on boost and timing rather than idle fueling.

Do these plug into the Genesis injector wiring?

Yes, if the car already has USCAR injector plugs, which is what these injectors use. Denso, EV1 and Honda style plugs need Injector Dynamics plug and play adapters, sold separately. Check the connector on one of the factory Genesis injectors before ordering so the right four adapters arrive with the set.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top, 14mm Lower O-Ring and R35 Spacer, Set of 4

Injector Dynamics’ ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in this four-cylinder set pair a 14mm top with a 14mm lower O-ring and the R35 lower spacer, and Injector Dynamics lists the configuration for the 2009-2012 Hyundai Genesis 2.0t. Each one flows 1728cc/min at 3.0 bar, enough for a big turbo upgrade on the 2.0 liter engine or a move to E85. A Genesis with the factory turbo on pump fuel will do fine with the stock injectors or a smaller flow class.

Configuration

The lower spacer is the one Injector Dynamics uses for the Nissan GT-R, and it carries the same 14mm lower O-ring and spacer arrangement over to the early Genesis 2.0t. The 2013-2014 Genesis 2.0t is listed under a 60mm configuration instead, so check the model year first.

Features

GT-R lower spacer and 14mm lower O-ring on each of the four injectors
Successor to the ID1700, adding dynamic flow with no increase in minimum fuel mass
Offset published at 1169 microseconds at 43.5 psi and 12 volts

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1728cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), E10 certification fuel at 49C (120F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 7.0 bar (101.5 psi)
Offset: 1169 microseconds at 43.5 psi and 12 volts
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 48mm
Top: 14mm adapter
Lower: 14mm O-ring with R35 lower spacer

What’s Included

ID1750-XDS fuel injectors with 14mm top adapters and 14mm lower O-rings with R35 lower spacers (x4)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

Hyundai Genesis 2.0t: 2009-2012

Notes

For the 2009-2012 Genesis 2.0t only; the 2013-2014 car takes a 60mm configuration with a 14mm lower O-ring
Wiring with Denso, EV1, OBD2 Honda or 2012 and later Honda plugs needs an Injector Dynamics plug-and-play adapter to suit the USCAR connectors; for Denso plugs use the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter
An ECU recalibration is required after fitting, using the Injector Dynamics characterization data

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
