Does this set fit a 2006 to 2009 S2000?

No. Injector Dynamics lists this S2000 lower configuration for the 2000 to 2005 cars. The 2006 to 2009 S2000 uses a 48mm injector with a 14mm top and a 14mm lower O-ring, which is a separate part number, so check the model year before ordering.

What is the S2000 lower configuration?

It is the lower end Injector Dynamics specifies for the early S2000, coded F20 in the part number. Together with the 11mm top adapter on the 48mm body, it matches the injector to the factory rail and intake on the 2000 to 2005 cars, which is why the set is listed only for those years.

Should a turbo S2000 use the ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors or the 1300?

For E85 or a large turbo, the ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors give more headroom at 1728cc per minute, with minimum fuel mass held at the ID1700 level. The ID1300-XDS flows about 1335cc per minute and suits moderate gasoline or ethanol builds where the extra flow is not needed.

Do I need to retune after installing these?

Yes. The S2000 ECU, or the standalone that replaces it, must be calibrated with the Injector Dynamics data for the 1750, including flow, offset and short pulse values. Without that work, idle, cruise and full load fueling will all be wrong from the first start.

Are connector adapters included?

No. These injectors come with USCAR connectors and no adapters. Your S2000 wiring may need a plug and play adapter from Injector Dynamics, which makes Denso, EV1, OBD2 and 2012 and later Honda versions. Confirm your connector before ordering so the car is not left waiting on parts.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors with 11mm Top and S2000 Lower Configuration, Set of 4

Injector Dynamics’ ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in this set of four are built in the S2000 lower configuration with an 11mm top, the layout Injector Dynamics lists for the 2000-2005 Honda S2000. They suit an early S2000 that has gained a turbocharger or supercharger, or that is moving to E85. Each injector flows 1728cc/min at 3.0 bar on E10 certification fuel, and the 1750 holds minimum fuel mass at the ID1700 level so the high-revving four still idles cleanly. A naturally aspirated S2000 on gasoline has no use for this much flow.

Configuration

The 48mm body carries an 11mm top adapter, and the lower end is the F20 configuration Injector Dynamics builds for the S2000. The later 2006-2009 S2000 uses a different set with a 14mm top and 14mm lower O-ring.

Features

Four 48mm injectors with 11mm top adapters and the S2000 lower configuration
Dynamic flow up over the ID1700 with no increase in minimum fuel mass
Compatible with ethanol, methanol, MTBE, nitromethane and hydrocarbon fuels
Flow matched as a set of four

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1728cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), E10 certification fuel at 49C (120F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 7.0 bar (101.5 psi)
Offset at 43.5 psi: 1169 microseconds at 12 volts
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 48mm
Top: 11mm adapter
Lower: S2000 configuration (F20)

What’s Included

ID1750-XDS fuel injectors with 11mm top adapters and S2000 lower configuration (x4)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID1750-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

Honda S2000: 2000-2005

Notes

Adapters are not in the box: for Denso wiring add the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter, while EV1, OBD2 and 2012+ Honda plug adapters are made by Injector Dynamics but not listed on our site
For the 2000-2005 S2000 only; 2006-2009 cars take the 14mm top and 14mm lower O-ring configuration
Recalibrate the ECU for the new injectors using the flow, offset and short pulse data Injector Dynamics publishes

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. In short, prices may change without notice. It is always advised to give us a call prior to placing your order online to confirm availability and to confirm current pricing.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
