Can I buy the ID1750-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors for a three cylinder engine?

Yes. This set of three carries the ID1750-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with a 14mm top and a 14mm lower O-ring. Injector Dynamics does not name a vehicle for it, so check that your rail and manifold take a 60mm injector with those seal sizes, and confirm the connector type before ordering.

Can this set be combined with other injectors?

No. The three injectors in this set are flow matched to each other, and mixing them with injectors from another set or brand would undo the balance between cylinders. If more injectors are needed later, order them through Injector Dynamics so the match is kept.

Does a small engine need a tune with three of these injectors?

Yes. The engine computer meters fuel from injector flow and offset, and 1728cc per minute is far more than a small factory injector. Injector Dynamics publishes the characterization data, including the 1169 microsecond offset at 43.5 psi and 12 volts, and the tuner loads it for all three cylinders before the engine runs.

Will a three cylinder idle smoothly with injectors this large?

Yes, with a proper calibration. Injector Dynamics gave the 1750 more dynamic flow than the ID1700 without raising minimum fuel mass, and improved cylinder balance at low pulsewidths. Those two changes are what make three large injectors workable at idle and light load on gasoline.

Which connector is fitted to this set of three?

USCAR. If the engine uses Denso, EV1 or Honda OBD2 plugs, Injector Dynamics plug and play adapters fit between the wiring and each injector without splicing. Bulletproof Automotive carries the USCAR to Denso adapter; ask us about the other types, and order three adapters to match this set.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1750-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 14mm Lower O-Ring, Set of 3

Injector Dynamics’ ID1750-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors make up this three-piece set with a purple 14mm top adapter and a 14mm lower O-ring, a size for three-cylinder engines and custom fuel systems that take a 60mm injector. At 1728cc/min each on E10 test fuel, three of them carry a lot of fuel for a small engine. That much flow is wasted on a three-cylinder kept on gasoline at modest boost. The set suits builders who want a known injector with published characterization data on an engine that is being pushed hard.

Configuration

The 60mm, 14mm top and 14mm lower combination appears widely in Injector Dynamics’ table, from the E30 M3 to LS1 V8s, in sets of four, six and eight. This set of three carries the same dimensions for engines with fewer cylinders.

Features

Purple 14mm top adapters with 14mm lower O-rings
Flow matched as a set, with characterization data published for the tuner
Offset published at 1169 microseconds at 43.5 psi and 12 volts

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1728cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), E10 certification fuel at 49C (120F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 7.0 bar (101.5 psi)
Offset: 1169 microseconds at 43.5 psi and 12 volts
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 60mm
Top: 14mm adapter (purple)
Lower: 14mm O-ring

What’s Included

ID1750-XDS fuel injectors with purple 14mm top adapters and 14mm lower O-rings (x3)

Applications

Injector Dynamics does not publish a vehicle list for this configuration; it fits fuel systems built for a 60mm injector with 14mm top and 14mm lower O-ring.

Notes

The ID1750-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in a set of three have no published vehicle list; confirm the length, top and lower seal before ordering
Wiring with Denso, EV1, OBD2 Honda or 2012 and later Honda plugs needs an Injector Dynamics plug-and-play adapter to suit the USCAR connectors; for Denso plugs use the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter
An ECU recalibration is required after fitting, using the Injector Dynamics characterization data

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
