What fuels can the ID1300-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors use in a five-cylinder?

Any known fuel, per the Injector Dynamics rating. The ID1300-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors were built around ethanol and methanol, with stainless internals, and keep a minimum fuel mass that also suits gasoline. A five-cylinder can therefore start on pump fuel and move to alcohol with the same five injectors.

How do I choose between this set and the plain O-ring set of five?

Look at the lower end of the injectors you are removing and the bore they sit in. This set has the 14mm bottom adapter, while the other five injector set uses a plain 14mm lower O-ring on the same 60mm body. Injector Dynamics lists neither for a specific vehicle, so measure before ordering.

Is a tune needed with this five injector set?

Yes. The engine management meters fuel using injector flow, offset and short pulse behavior, and all three change with the ID1300-XDS. Injector Dynamics publishes characterization data for it, and the tuner should enter the values before the five-cylinder runs under load.

Is there a vehicle list for this set?

No. Injector Dynamics does not publish a vehicle list for this exact part number. It suits a five injector fuel system built for a 60mm body with a 14mm top and 14mm bottom adapter, so confirm length and seal sizes against your current injectors or ask your fuel system builder before ordering.

Can Injector Dynamics clean and test this set later?

Yes. Injector Dynamics offers cleaning, inspection and flow testing in Arizona, worthwhile after storage or a fuel contamination problem. New injectors are warranted for one year from purchase against manufacturer defects, provided they run the correct fuel with proper filtration.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1300-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 14mm Bottom Adapter, Set of 5

Injector Dynamics’ ID1300-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in this five-piece set pair a grey 14mm top with a silver 14mm bottom adapter, a configuration Injector Dynamics offers without a published vehicle list. The five-injector count points to a five-cylinder engine whose rail and manifold are built around a 60mm injector with this bottom adapter, and length and both seal sizes need confirming against what you are removing. Each ID1300-XDS flows 1335cc/min at 3.0 bar on iso-octane, and its stainless internals were designed for E85 and methanol. Without boost or alcohol fuel, five injectors of this size are far beyond what an engine of that size needs.

Configuration

The B in 14B marks the bottom adapter, which distinguishes this set from the plain 14mm lower O-ring version with the same five-injector count. Turn 14 describes the adapter as silver and the top as grey.

Flow matched as a set of 5
Designed specifically for alternative fuels and compatible with all known fuels
Compact body shared across more than 200 applications
Grey 14mm top adapter and silver 14mm bottom adapter, five injectors per set

Specifications

Nominal flow: 1335cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi), iso-octane at 52C (125F)
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 7.0 bar (101.5 psi)
Fuel compatibility: All known fuels
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 60mm
Top: 14mm adapter (grey)
Lower: 14mm bottom adapter (silver)

What’s Included

ID1300-XDS fuel injectors with grey 14mm top adapters and silver 14mm bottom adapters (x5)

Applications

Injector Dynamics does not publish a vehicle list for this configuration; it fits fuel systems built for a 60mm injector with a 14mm top and a 14mm bottom adapter.

Notes

Injector Dynamics publishes no vehicle list for this part number, so confirm the bottom adapter, length and top size against your fuel system before ordering
USCAR plugs are fitted, so Denso, EV1 or OBD2 wiring needs adapters, sold separately; for Denso plugs use the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter
Plan an ECU recalibration using the published Injector Dynamics characterization data

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
