Which fuels suit the ID1300-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in a 2013-2017 Viper?

Any known fuel, by the Injector Dynamics rating. The ID1300-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors were designed for ethanol and methanol, with stainless internals, and their minimum fuel mass also suits gasoline. A late Viper can run pump fuel now and move to E85 or methanol later without changing injectors.

How is this set different from the 2008-2010 Viper set?

The bottom adapter. Both use a 48mm ID1300-XDS body with a 14mm top and come as sets of ten, but Injector Dynamics lists the 14V bottom adapter for the 2013-2017 Viper and the 14B adapter for the 2008-2010 car. Order by model year so the lower end matches your engine.

Is a tune needed on a 2013-2017 Viper after fitting?

Yes. The Viper engine management meters fuel from injector flow, offset and short pulse data, and the ID1300-XDS differs from stock on each. Injector Dynamics publishes that data, and your tuner adds it to the calibration before the V10 sees load or boost.

Can I use this set on a 2003-2007 Viper?

No. Injector Dynamics lists the 2003-2007 Viper, and the Ram SRT-10 of 2004-2006, with a 60mm injector, a 14mm top and a 14mm lower O-ring. This 48mm set with the 14V bottom adapter is specified for the 2013-2017 Viper, and the lengths are not interchangeable.

Should a high power Viper use the ID1750-XDS instead?

Yes, if the V10 needs more fuel than ten injectors at 1335cc per minute can supply. The ID1750-XDS flows 1728cc per minute on E10 test fuel with no rise in minimum fuel mass, and both are rated to 7.0 bar. For builds inside the 1300 range, this set is the closer fit.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID1300-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 14V Bottom Adapter, Set of 10

Injector Dynamics’ ID1300-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in the 14V configuration are the set of ten Injector Dynamics lists for the 2013-2017 Dodge Viper, combining a 14mm top with the 14V bottom adapter. The ID1300-XDS delivers 1335cc/min at 3.0 bar on iso-octane and accepts every known fuel, which gives a forced-induction or ethanol V10 room to grow. Stainless internals and a minimum fuel mass chosen for gasoline let the same set live with pump fuel on the street. On a stock 2013-2017 Viper it is simply more flow than the engine can use.

Configuration

The 14V lower code distinguishes this set from the 14B set listed for the 2008-2010 Viper and from the 60mm set for the 2003-2007 car. All three are ten-injector sets, so the model year decides which one you need.

Features

Minimum fuel mass suited to gasoline for good idle and cruise
14V bottom adapter in the configuration Injector Dynamics lists for the 2013-2017 Viper

What’s Included

ID1300-XDS fuel injectors with 14mm top adapters and 14V bottom adapters (x10)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID1300-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

Dodge Viper: 2013-2017

Notes

The connectors are USCAR and no adapters are included; Denso wiring takes the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter, and EV1 and OBD2 adapters exist but are not listed here
An ECU recalibration with the Injector Dynamics characterization data is required before the engine is driven
Configured with the 14V bottom adapter for the 2013-2017 Viper; earlier Vipers use different Injector Dynamics sets

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
